New Pizza place in Italy?

I don't see any current way to tell whether it'll be a counter service or a table service, or maybe both. Most assumptions seem to be that it will be a counter service that sells slices.

I saw the structure today, there were workers there putting up block. It's quite a large building.

Thanks for posting this! We're planning a return trip in October so I hope to be able to try it out! :thumbsup2

I can't find the thread from a few days ago, but I saw the menu and it was far, far from being a CS selling slices.

From the looks of the menu, it looked like very upscale pizza.

does anyone have a link to that menu? This is fascinating to me...actual ADDITIONS to the food landscape in Mexico (replacement...but a much larger/better facility) and Italy at the same time:woohoo:

That menu is for the Disneyland restaurant - I don't know if this will be exactly the same setup as the Disneyland restaurant. I think it's going to be run by the same company though.

If you look in the bottom right corner the menu it lists WDW as a location.

There is a Naples and a Napolini in Downtown Disney out in Anaheim, which is confusing some people. They are located right next to eat other. Naples is more like an equivalent to Tutto Italia (expensive but very good food) and I am guessing the new restaurant will be more like Napolini. It is a quick service restaurant serving very fresh pizza by the slice. It is very good (in my opinion) thin crust pizza. They also serve up some other wonderful options. Check out the menu here...

I'm going to put my money on the Napolini-type place. I can't imagine they would have another full table service restaurant right next to Tutto unless they were planning on closing Tutto (especially an outsourced one to compete with the Disney one). Napolini would fit right in, and the menu from DTD in Anaheim SSRJen posted looks GREAT!!!

Tutto's not run by Disney - it's also outsourced and run by the Patina Group.

Thank you for the correction. I wasn't sure, but I had never read otherwise so assumed it was Disney. So the Patina Group would just be competing against themselves with 2 expensive TS restaurants side by side, then. A Napolini still sounds like it makes the most sense.
