I did love the love story with Will and Elizabeth but please that story is so over now - putting those two characters in would not make for a better movie it is time to follow Sparrow Barbossa and leave Elizabeth and Will in peace (and this is coming from someone who thought Bloom was super hot as Will)

I have to be honest about the pirates of the caribbean movies. The only good pirates movie was the first one. I thought the 2nd movie was very disappointing. It was very long! The parts that were supposed to be funny were stupid and the storyline was weak. The only reason they made a 2nd movie was to make a 3rd one. The 3rd one was okay, but again long and not as good as the first one. So, I think that Disney shouldn't make a 4th because there's nothing else to the story.

Will and Elizabeth's story is over as far as I am concerned. Bring in new characters! Plenty more Pirate stories and characters that could be developed!

I am totally over the Turner/Swann story so I'm glad they aren't in it. I thought their story line in the 3rd one was awful.

Yep, the Mr & Mrs Turner thingy is just IMO. He's dead. Get over it.

Zac is saying he hasnt been approached about it, but thinks it would be "awesome" so who knows.

Well, we've had the Knightly rumor. The Efron rumor. So let me say the rumor is that the 4th POTC, if there is a 4th POTC, will be about the search for the Fountain of Youth.

I knew there would be a 4th. I personally love all 3 movies, but my favorite is the 1st one. I could do without Elizabeth, but I have to say I love looking at Orlando Bloom.

Well, I'm a guy, so I won't comment on THAT... but I'd LOOOOOVE to see a new FEMALE character in the movie, because I'm not that impressed with Keira Knightley. And the gypsy woman... she's too scary to be attractive.....

I gotta ask.. how many of you have seen the extra mini-clip after the credits of Pirates 3? The one set 10 years later where Elizabeth waits for Will on the hillside with her new son.
I just don't think that story is over yet. They left it wide open for a POTC4.

I did see it and yes I still think their story is over. Elizabeth was there, curse broken, they spend the rest of their lives happily ever after.

I've explained this a lot so forgive my short answer....The curse is broken...Unlike Davy and Calypso, all Will needed was to ferry souls to the other side, and all Liz had to do was remain faithful....Curse broken...Dutchman does have to have a Captain, which is why I would assume Bootstrap wouldve taken over the duties after Will was free.

That sounds right, especially the way the conclusion of At World's End leads up to a quest for the fountain. Should make for a fun storyline.
Glad to hear we have more of the Pirates saga to look forward to.

Thats right. The Curse was broken because Will ferried souls for 10 yrs and Elizabeth was waiting for him. I agree about bootstrap becoming Captain.
