NEW Pirate Quest on Monday! *See Post 25 & 29!!*

now the title makes it seem like there's a new quest and it's been confirmed...

Ohhh cool I can head to Florida was early as Tuesday. My sister just moved there and I was planing to go the first week in August to help her get unpacked her furniture is arriving this week sometime. She is 40 minutes from WDW and I planned to go to the MK and AK (got to ride Everest) at least one day maybe two. I can't be that close and not get my fix of the Mouse.

So I get to see my sister, another day at Disney AND hopefully new quest. How totally awesome! I just have to do the dreaded drive through the Carolinas!

don't leave yet the quest has not been released as of yet and I would hate for you to miss it by a day or two...better to wait until it is realeased for sure

Well, as Mal said, Aeryn is very trustworthy and I don't think there is anyone else higher up than an Area Manager besides Walt who would know.

yes but all she said was that somebody winked at her and told her to check back tomorrow, not that it will definitely be out. I wouldn't plan a trip over a wink...

Well, a couple other of my friends who went to WDW said they were told the same thing. But, as Mal says, thats just heresay.

I'm assuming it will be out tomorrow. If it's not, then oh well. I doubt anyone is going to go plan some multi-thousand dollar trip in one day.

I wouldn't plan a trip on a wink either unless you were a local. The manager I talked to is one I've had conversation with before and while I wouldn't want to say 100% yes it will be out tomorrow, I would, based on previous conversations think the chance of it is fairly good. I wasn't able to get any info on what the prizes are going to be and since I happen to like talking to this person, didn't want to press my luck.

The virtual hat at this point is most definitely a rumor. Multiple sources looked at me like I had 3 heads when I asked so I would put ZERO credence at this point into there being a hat.

Which are No one knows anything about a VMK Pirate Hat with purchase and the New Pirates Quest is still not released.
