New pirate makeover experience!

YAY! My son will be thrilled It was actually the graphic in your signature that drew us in to the whole 'Pirate League' to begin with - Tyler saw it and FLIPPED out. I believe his exact words were "Good! Something that's not just for the yucky girls".

Every time I mention this to him, that's all he thinks about - your signature graphic. Though...we're still working on this whole 'internet' thing. So as of right now, he's convinced that you're part of a computer and keeps asking how come our computer isn't a pirate. Ahhh, the mind of a 6 year old!

My DD doesn't even know she's doing it yet, but she loves to look at the thread w me... she even wants to give up BBB to do it LOL....

I really kinda hope I get some more luck on my side bc the woman booked all 4 of us that can do it at the same time.... which should be fine, except I want to take pictures, and our 18 mo old will still be sitting in the stroller staring at all of us LOL SO, here's hoping that we get good pirates to help us-- although all of you sound/seem fantastic..... I just don't want to cause a mess b/c the DS will be in the stroller and I'll want to take pics of the DDs getting it done..... ok so my ramblings done, and I'm not sure what my point was.... but I'm just nervous about doing it.... LOL But I'm just wearing a Capt Jack tshirt and getting the empress done, so its not too big of a deal... may give DS my sword tho LOL he will need to defend himself from his DS's LOL

Anyways, I hope that all of you have/or had a wonderful time doing this, I know I can't wait!!

I'm thinking of doing this next summer and I'm probably gonna get the Empress, but i have a question about the bandana, does it only come in pink (like all of the pictures) or are there other colors as well? I have a red shirt that looks rather pirate-y and was thinking of wearing it that day, but maybe not if the bandana doesn't match. lol.

Edit: it looks like the guy's bandana is red and black.. would i be able to get that one instead of the pink and black one?

The bandana is reversible if I remember correctly- one side is red, one is pink.

My daughter and I did a session Friday and had a great time! I posted a bunch of photos on my blog, we did the Empress package.

Just wanted to thank you for making me a pirate on Friday, aug 14th. It was an awesome time! We got lots of pics and there was even a couple kids that wanted pics with us!!!!

We went and rode POtC afterward and got the front seat!

We went and my daughter had her pirate makeover on 08/4. I forget our pirate master's name. But I have to say ALL of them were hilarious. There was one younger blonde pirate guy who kept on threatening to steal my Mom's ECV. LOL Below are some pictures....sorry about the sideways one...

So, I've had a reservation for my DS for our MNSSHP party night and wanted to make it a little later. I've been calling for awhile and was delighted when I heard, yes, that time is available. So, while she was pulling up my current reservation to switch it and put me on hold, apparently someone else snagged it! Oh well...I'll keep trying. HOWEVER, she said, you know you can keep checking online? I know dining went online before I did my dining in June, but the Pirates League? I didn't want to be rude and say, "are you sure?" because I could be wrong, but has anyone found this? I just looked and did not see any link to book this. It sure would be nice though...

I'm feeling double snookered!

We are attending the MNSSHP the night my DS (3) is booked for the "experience". Will the CM send our photos to our resort so we do not have to carry them around all night???

That's wonderful, I'm glad you had a great time! I love seeing DISers in TPL!! I feel like it's a special club and a lot of the other pirates ask me about it all the time!

You are right - while dining reservations can be made on-line, TPL and BBB cannot. So at this point calling daily is the best option.

Yep - we can do the package pickup just like all of the other merchandise locations!

I'm having a hard time deciding on whether to buy costumes while there, or to bring our own. DD and DS both have appointments, plus we'll be doing MNSSHP that night - but I'd hate for them to look like all the other little pirates running around with identical costumes. Plus they only have one outfit for the girls package right? The pink/black dress?

They also have a Buccaneer Girl outfit (has pants) and the Pirate Garb shirt is unisex.
