I am not positive, but I believe the Pirate Wench dress is $50.

I asked around and that seems to be correct. In cannot be the costume for the Captain's package because it is less expensive than the others. It would be cheaper to get the look for $50, get the dress for $50, then just get two 5'7 photos (about $12 a piece) from around the park.

Since the male costumes cost more, it is a deal to get the Captain's package for them.

Hmm...we ordered the "bigger" package for lizzie, she will want the girl's makeup and the girl's costume but with the pants. Did we make a mistake?

If you want the Buccaneer girl costume, I would downgrade to the first mate or empress, depending on which look you want.

I had her just booked for the Empress. Then when I called to add my older girl (bringing her old costume) they said to add her at the same time, I should change one of the packages. Since by then we found out there was a girl costume with pants, that's why we bumped her up. They never told us on the phone you couldn't get the female makeup with the biggest package.

The schedule has not been finalized yet, but the shop hours will be 9-7 regardless of EMH or parties. However, I believe the last appointment will be 6:15 - I'll let you know if it changes.

They never told us on the phone you couldn't get the female makeup with the biggest package.

As you probably know, the people who schedule the appointments on the phone are not located in the parks, so they may not have the most up to date information.

i booked on a mnsshp night but at 2:30. I think my dd is going to be very disapointed. She is a girly girl and did bbb in feb first time and loved it. She has been saving paper money aka US dollars for her BBB in sept. She saw they pink pirate dress and now wants this so I booked it. Sh loved the hair,nail make up thing so I hope she isn't disapointed...we are going to the MNSSHP that night and it is a suprise I am sure she will be thrilled.

I wonder if I should bring my own costume for ds (will be 3 yrs and 2 days ) as he would never know the difference and down grade....seems like a lot of extra money for the costume.

Hmph. I thought DD 6 would want to do BBB before one MNSSHP, and the Pirate League before the other. She doesn't. Today was our 90 day mark, I made all our ADRs, but no Pirate League for us. DD says she wants to do BBB only.

The rest of you will have to let me know how much fun you had.

I can't speak about the future - but we are not booked very much at all... we assume that this will be a huge walk up location. So you may still get the chance to walk up if she changes her mind!

I agree completely.I hope the Opening Team isn't too concerned about the soft bookings to this point.Most WDW Guests aren't as "in the know" as members of The DIS.I would think that the vast majority of past/future WDW vacationers are not even aware there is going to be such a thing as Pirates League.Once it is open,word will spread QUICKLY and bookings should increase dramatically(at least they better or everyone who has complained for years that WDW doesn't have "anything for boys" is going to look really bad!LOL).

I just booked the 1st Mate(DS6) and Empress(DD9) for MNSSHP on 9/15.

Do you know what the 5x7 photo is? Do they take a photo right there or do we have to go somewhere else like you do for BBB?

How long is the session supposed to be? I don't want to miss the party.

The whole process is estimated just under an hour, but we haven't practiced it yet. After the 25th we'll have a better idea.

The photo will be taken in the treasure cache, a photopass will be in there and snap the picture. When you pay your dues to the league it will be printed out for you so you'll have it before you leave.

Great to know on the nail colors. My daughter bought the old pirate princess dress (red, black, white) on our last visit and has not worn it yet ... saving for this trip & her appt. at the Pirates League.

So my question is, will there be an option besided the hot pink/black bandana for the girls? perhaps the boys version is just black? or since is supposed to be reversible is just black on one side?

Excellent question - the bandana's are actually not in yet so I haven't seen them. My best guess is that she could get the boy bandana instead, since there shouldn't be a cost difference.

This sounds like so much fun.. we actually are able to make reservations tomorrow for our upcoming trip.. we were going to do the cool dude.. but this sounds more up my boys alley.. they love pirates.. can't wait to hear feedback from people who have done this before us.. Do you get the photos taken at The Pirates League on a photopass card so you can add them to the photopass CD later on? Not sure what is done at BBB Boutique.
