New Pirate Game Win Ship!

Never mind... I've been trying to avoid those stinking "idols" because they keep shooting at me & I couldn't kill them either! I'm so lame!

I finally saw the opening clip showing the ship bumping into it - AFTER I'd figured it out! For some reason I wasn't seeing that earlier.

Also, is anyone else finding that the buttons for Start & Try Again are "off" in level 3? I can't click ON the button - either above or below it works. It's off by a good bit actually.

In Level 3 you have to whack into the four skulls - this activates them. Of course, they fire at you and the sea monster tries to get you! I just beat the game, but it was difficult. Here's one tip: you can hear the noise the monster makes just before his/her appearance. Then look for a circular shadow on the water - that's where it will surface. Good luck!

I'd be happy if I could get the game to load so I could play it. Doesn't seem to like my IE or my Firefox...

Mine plays so-so in IE but I couldn't get it to play at all in Firefox!

I didn't get that the idols are shooting at ME....now I get it!

The idols look like stoney heads with glowing eyes sticking out of the water....not too handsome.

Trying to beat the game again, in order to get a Mast. Playing the Third Level again, I notice how mean the programmers were in their 'random' placement of the Kracken. I have been killed every time, because it, quite literally, pops up right in front of me.

EDIT: EVERYTIME! Everytime it comes up right in front of me.


EDIT2: It just came up RIGHT WHERE I WAS. This is a bit unfair at times...

I don't know if it's the same problem, but Firefox for me had issues.

Explorer worked but sometimes the loading bar (the blue bar at the bottom) would get about halfway and sit there.

Hitting refresh would reload and eventually it would load up.

I think the server is just getting hit pretty hard right now.

I think you are correct. It is doing fine in Firefox for me now. I just have to keep reloading until it actually starts. I think I was getting the equivalent of the BSOD.

Ok... copying and pasting the Bonus Code doesn't work: the second you touch that box, it converts it to the Third Level Code.

I just beat it as well, 6th try on level 3.

My luck was that I got stuck on an island where Kraken couldn't reach me, after 3 minutes or so, the program slowly moves you off the island and Kraken is stuck and can't chase.

OK my first stupid question of the day, I beat level one but it did not give me a code. The ship part was flashing but I couldn't find anything to click on to move along to get the code. Help, please.

Arrrrrgh! I finally made it through the third level, got my code, and then it generated the bonus code...but the last letter or number in that code is not on the screen! How much trouble can i get in if i repeatedly enter what i have and go thru the alphabet and numbers 0 to 9 till i find what works for my bonus code on that last buggin' space?

Okay, after completing Level 1, I have a comment that only a few of us my relate to.

With the asdw keys AND the mouse being needed, this is a VERY tough game for a left-handed person. The keys are on the left of the keyboard, leaving my right hand to use the mouse - not easy.

OK - What on earth am I looking for in level 3?!?!?!? I've done this so many times this morning & have yet to see what I'm trying to pick up!! I thought maybe it was those dead ships...nope. And of course those stinking Krackens are making me crazy! LOL

I'm another one old enough to remember using the ASDW keys...however, I couldn't use them properly back then either!
