Has anyone seen that the Disney Store is now selling pins again? There are a series of Snow White pins and there were a few Pooh characters. I saw a set of 4 Snow White pins for $8.95. Seems like a reasonable price, even if they are small. I couldn't read the back of them to confirm that they are official Disney. Do you think they are tradable since they come from the Disney Store, even though Disney doesn't own the stores any more?

Hi! I was just in a Disney Store in Del Amo Mall. The cast members told me when I asked if these new Snow White pins were tradeable at Disneyland, that, "NO", they were not. They told me that the quality of the Disney Store pins were not the same as those sold at Disneyland and so DLR changed their policy regarding them. She told me that DLR no longer accepts Disney Store pins for trading with cast member lanyards.

Whether this is really true or not at Disneyland, I do not know. Has anyone actually traded these pins at the Park? A friend back east says they are tradeable at WDW, but sometimes Disneyland is more stringent.

If you find out from experience, please post.

First I've heard of that. I actually wish they WOULD do that with Sedesma and ProPins, but I've never had a problem with Disney Store pins. I just bought a Rocketeer pin at the Disney Store the other day and it's just as nice as any pin I've ever bought at WDW. The only real difference is that most of them are a little smaller than your average Disney Pin, but there's never been a size requirement in the Official Rules.
