I just checked DH's email, and he got a PIN. (ANOTHER one; he is the one that got our FD PIN, and he never plays around on the WDW site!)

Is this a new PIN? If so, has anyone tried to price out what the Villas or Deluxe Resorts are going for during the December time period?

I got this email about an hour ago and was almost crying in my lasagna because we can't go. DH is having surgery 9/29 and out of work for a bit and then will be laid off in January for the winter.

Why can't these come out for spring/summer? grr....

Hope someone will take advantage of these great rates!

The current room-only discount is $74/$109/$179 per night/moderate/deluxe resorts for the same nights in Oct/Nov. There are also discounts for the same dates in late Nov. thru Dec 24.

I also got this email today- we went in Oct last year (POR) and definately felt it was the best time of the year. We really dont have the finances this year but with this email I am rethinking. Its hotel only - so I am not sure how park tickets (DH, me and DD 9) and free dining factor in.

I called to price it out. If you're going during the November days, it's a great deal.

For December, it actually saved us less than the FD PIN we already are using.

For savannah view at AKL, it is $284 a night. If you're going in November and use that PIN, it's almost $100 less a night.

A 2-bedroom villa at Kidani (6 nights) is $3,975.92; that is only around $870.00 less than the normal rate (per what I found on the website for normal rates at that time.)

We saved almost $1,000.00 at POP! on the FD PIN; unless the CM misquoted us, we'll stick with that. I got my hopes up when the rates were $169 for November. I didn't think it would be that much more. Oh well; our trip will still be wonderful.

Will everyone else post what they find out, please??

I was pricing for Dec 22nd, getting 2 days discounted, rest of our stay is full price, not even AAA rates at that time

We'll be having baby #2 in mid-October, so it's totally out for us.

Question though - if I don't use this PIN, will it reduce my risk of ever getting one again?

Disney does not allow stacking of discounts. It's one or the other. Just run the numbers and see which works best for your situation. Usually free dining is better if you are staying in a value resort, the room discounts are better if you are staying in a Deluxe, and you just have to run the numbers if you are staying in a moderate, as it will depend on how many people are in the room as to whether free dining can beat the room discounts.

^^^ I agree Lorix, it would be great to receive a June-July code PIN. I've never received one nor has my husband. I see tons of people posting about them but we've never been the lucky recipients of such an offer. For us late June into early July is the only time we can vacation.

My husband and I would looooooove for this guy or this gal to send us one of those magical PIN codes. We can dream, right?

Well you can go and price it out without signing in, but if you have created an account, then you can log onto the website and save your offer, then log out. If you go about pricing vaca this way then they will know.
