Here are some pictures I took of Jacob today. They're really big because I didn't turn the resolution on the camera down.
He's getting so big right before our eyes. The first few days were really challenging, with the lactation consultant at the hospital telling me I was going to have to supplement with formula and his doctor telling me that my milk would be enough, but we've finally gotten into a good routine and he's eating very well. Today he was alert for about 2 hours straight, and he's finally asking to be fed instead of prompted into it, so you can probably imagine how relieved I am.

Those pictures just make me smile, Kermit, he is a doll. Enjoy those newborn days, they are over SO quickly!
