Due to the F&W festival at DCA there is at least one new PP opportunity. It's located near the Skye Blue Cellar and features a wine vat that you appear to be in. I found this and now I know why we missed it last Tueday, it wasn't there yet. This is has a large wine vat with an ABC logo on it and the Walker Landing Winery on it from the series Brothers and Sisters. It's located just to the left of the waterfall on the main street just pass the Sunshine Plaza..

Also, you can get the Mickey Balloon Bouquet enhancement at the waterfall.

I can't post the pictures since I'm not ordering my CD until the end of May in order to have all our trips in May on one CD.

If I find anymore new locations, I will post it here.

UPDATED-

There is now a PP photographer roaming around Paradise Pier. Dave is there M-F, 10-6. He took some great ones of us yesterday. Some of the ones he can take are in front of the Dinosaur, Corn Dog Castle, Lighthouse Gift location, Mickey's Fun Wheel from next to Golden Zephyr, Orange Stinger, and more. he can add in almost every enhancement they have except for the ones that aren't taken in DCA. He can add the following: Mickey balloons; Soarin' (did this one over Dinosaur-came out cool!); Mickey or Minnie seated; and Stitch eating ice cream (maybe the one coming out of ground as well?)

You can usally find him in the Dinosaur/Jumping Jellies location. Look for him, it's definitely worth it.

As many of you know that's the area that is going to undergoing major remodeling and many of those locations will be gone. The Dino is leaving soonest, as well as the Orange Stinger (the exterior will be changing).

Have fun all!

oh I can not wait to see !!! Im seriously thinking of doing photo pass this trip. can you guys tell me more ? do they put the carecters in your hand from there camera? or do you do it on the disneyland site? I need more info in order to do it :)

Teatime - the PP photographers can put Tinkerbell in your hand or Stitch in the ground or Mickey on the bench, etc. with their own systems - those are called the 'magic shots.' Then, when you take your PP card home and start your PP account online, you can add your own cool borders and effects too. But the ones Dizneydaz is talking about - with the wine vat and the Mickey balloons - those will be done by the PP photographers. They scan your card to add the photos to your account, and they have to key in a code of some kind ibefore they take the picture to make sure you get the magic shots! Make sure to always ask for the magic shots you want - some of them will nto tell you all that they have to offer.

Do it! You have nothing to lose, Teatime! If you hate all of the photos, you don't have to ever buy anything, and you can view them online at home for free, as well as share them and add the enhancements for free. Plus, you can get hundreds and hundreds of photos on one Photopass account - and pay the same $66.95 for the CD as you would if you had only 20 photos! Great deal!

im not sure i can do it now that were not allowed to do what we had done the last two years with photo pass shearing but whatever guess we will see if we can or can not get it.
but cool finding out bout that

DH and I had this photo done last week. Came out really nice. With rows of grapes growing behind the vat. Really cute.

Just to clarify, yes the new Balloon shot is added in by the photographer but the wine vat is there and you acually sit in it. I didn't see it yet but I will on Thursday. Someone else in my share who is there now got it taken. The ABC logo is pretty big but I think I can photoshop it out once I get my CD.

Also, if for some reason the Magic isn't there when you view the shot, as long as the picture is PP can put the missing magic back in. I just had them do this on both a Stitch and a Soarin' one. However, if they accidently do 2 overlays, they can't fix it. It has to stay that way they can'r remove it once it's there. This happened to us last Nov. with both Stitch and Soarin'. Makes for an interesting shot though. :rotfl2:

We were there yesterday and I updated first post-read about new opportunites on Paradise Pier in DCA.

We went today and since there is now a wall around Dino Jack the PP opportunity is no longer in the Paradise Pier area. Sorry

Here's a few ones I took today of my DD9 feeding DJ.

There is also a new wall around the area where the new Ariel ride will be with some nice graphics.

What did I miss about this? Is DISboard banning PP sharing or Disney doing something to prevent it? Please expand on this. I was wondering if anyone did this for Disneyland and was hoping to get in a share, but if there's a new policy about it that would explain why I'm not finding any share posts! Don't want to do anything to get in trouble...

Yes, the disboards has stopped allowing any shares (fridge, CD, or otherwise) where money exchanges hands. Any ongoing swaps that are free (like my fridge swap which is almost 3 years old) are allowed to continue was long as no money is charged.

I had a couple pics of the girls done in the vat, their last name is Walker and I thought it would look cute. They came out OK.

Thanks for clearing that up. Sigh... guess we'll pass on the PhotoPass for DL then. Which means no family photos. :sad2: Just ones of DS or DS and DH. (DH doesn't take decent photos to save his life, so even if he snaps one it doesn't turn out - he always gets his fingers in the way or angles it wrong or...)

Remember, it's 59.95 (plus shipping if you order it from home) for the CD at DLR. Not the 124.95 at WDW.

And you can certainly have the pix taken, then hand over your camera and they'll use yours as well. Just b/c you have pix taken and put on a card doesn't mean you have to buy them.

TravelinGal - I agree with Bumbershoot - you can have them take the pictures on your camera, AND I would strongly suggest you go ahead and have the Photopass people take all their pictures of you too (magic shots and all). You have nothing to lose because you don't have to buy a single thing. And if you do buy anything, you have a while to do it from when you return home. You don't have to do it right away. You can view the photos, edit them and even share them with other people online, and not have to buy a single thing. But having all those extra photos taken (and you can have hundreds and hundreds of them all for the $59.95 fee) is so worth it just in case the photos on your camera don't come out as you would expect, or they don't look as good once you get them loaded to the computer. On our last December trip, we just kept going back to the same Photopass locations and had photos taken again and again - and it is great that way because one day's version of a photo may be better than another day's version of that same picture (i.e., one day your left eye may be closed and a wisp of hair is in your mouth in the shot while everyone else looks great, but on the next day both eyes are open, no hair in the face and everyone looks fabulous). It is good to have the Photopass stuff as 'back-up' just in case anything goes wrong with your own photos or just in case they come out better.

Thanks Molly. I didn't realize it was that much less! I guess I forgot about them using my camera too because we always have it but forget we have it. LOL

I was going to say the same thing as bumbershooot and SherryE re: having the PP take your picture with your camera. It's the best free way to get photos of the entire family. And it wouldn't hurt to get the PP taken as well., you know, just in case (I don't even want to talk about the year I left my Dig cam in the rental van and never got it back :scared1:)
