I've been tinkering with the look of my photo site. If you have some time and wouldn't mind doing me a favor, please take a look at the site. It's http://photos.barbierifamily.org.

1) I added a slideshow on the front page.
2) I removed most of the galleries from general viewing.
3) I created a Disney section directly accessible from the main toolbar.
4) I added a Disney Slideshow page (which has junk at the bottom that I need to clean up).
5) I added new folders under Disney specifically for signs.
6) I also added a Guest Book. Please sign it.

Thanks,
Mark

Looks good, only thing I would really change is get rid of the thumbs on the bottom of the slideshow, it just looks cleaner without it to me.

looks great as your work always does..

I vote to keep the thumbs. I found myself using them to back up for pics I wanted to look at a little longer

Good site although you might want a friendlier photo for you guestbook...i was almost to intimidated to sign it...altough it would normally keep the riffraff away probably;)

I'll have to see if there is a picture of me smiling somewhere. I can't think of any off the top of my head. I'm usually annoyed at not being behind the camera when my picture is taken.

please tell your wife , the next time she comes up with a project, to make it something with a common name so I don't have to research to see what you are talking about..LOL

did the workers know they were being watched, did they mind...

that would bother me if someone set a camera up to take my pic every 10 seconds... there seemed to be a lot of shots with no work inthem..LOL

maybe every few minutes would have been often enough..

All looks good Mark but I think you need a header of some description above your top navigation bar. I think it'd give the pages a better balance and set the whole thing off better.

Great photos, very inspiring.

Fantastic photos! I love the one with just your sons heads..hilarious.
I found the set-up very easy to navigate...

That looks really good. I love my Smugmug. I need to get into mine and learn how to personalize it.

Mark,

I agree with the above post - you need some sort of header above the links - having them sandwiched just below the top of the window is a bit strange. I love the blog embedded into the smugmug page - how did you do that?

Good work!

Scott

Very nice Mark- your slideshow is one stunning photograph after another- I watched it until it started to recycle images. I will check it out again tonight including the gallery pages when I have more time- and compose something to sign in your guestbook. I just need to come up with some witty qualifying remark about being shot with a Canon first. ;)

very nice job... Great info on your blog.. I subscribed to it via bloglines so I don't miss your articles.. Great info

Yes, rub it in. My smug site is stock and lame... heheheheee

great work,

Mikeeee

Great Pictures!

Love the nature shots form the park. One question? What is the size of the lens your buddy is shooting on the tripod? I am assuming it costs as much as a small car!:rotfl2:

I like the design of the site and the ability to go to the different galleries through the top tabs.

Keep up the great work!

I noticed you have several pics in and under water, just curious if you have an underwater camera or have a case for your camera?
