If i understand the new photo pass is sold in daily passes. Where my questions comes in is with the photo packets at character meals. Before we should just be given the packages because we had photo pass. Is this no longer the way it will work? Will you have to buy those packages on top of the cost you pay for a photo pass?

This new way to do it seems like it just complicates things and makes it a lot less user friendly =(

Yes, no more printed packages. You will have to tell them you have Photopass and show the card and they'll give you a little flyer with a QR code and the number on it. That way you add the photos to your account.

My experience was that the printed dining photos and the download code are part of a package ($30 or $40). I specifically asked the CMs at both Plaza Inn and Goofy's Kitchen and was told I had to buy the package to obtain the download. It was not included in Photopass automatically in the daily pass purchase.

I also sent an inquiry to the Photopass support team and was told "photopass IDs are not generated for dining location photos unless a dining photo is purchased."

In any event, ask the Photopass person to also take a picture with your phone/camera. They are more than happy to oblige.

After having that included last year in the trip long package for 69.99, I still just can't get over how they have stuck it to their guests this year. :(

This is contradictory to what is stated in the fine print for Photopass both for the day purchase and for the one included with APs. If your dining experiences were not that long ago, I would call again and state what is in the fine print that dining is included and to please locate your pictures.

They are supposed to give you the code and others have reported receiving it.
