You could probably look at Disneyland's Jules Verne-style Tomorrowland if you want an idea of what an updated WDW version would look like. I would guess it will be quite a while though - both DL and WDW took over 30 years to redo their Fantasyland. I doubt we'll see much change for a while...and you KNOW Tomorrowland has to be on the radar. Based on this, I'm already excited for the posibility of that.
I didn't say that it's lacking in boy-oriented attractions, but most of them are ones that have been around a while. (Yes, Space Mountain is getting redone, but that's still very old.) Most of the stuff in MK for the last few years seems to be Princess-based - not surprising since there's a lot of money in them. I think most of the things that are being added will skew to the young girl demographic - nothing wrong with that, but hopefully we'll get DCA's Carsland next.I disagree with the impression that the MK is lacking in boy-oriented attractions. If anything the argument could be made that girl-oriented attractions were LACKING and the new additions will merely help put things more in balance. Pirates, cowboys, space, race cars... all more boy friendly in general. Most other things are at best gender neutral. Adding some more princesses and such is probably a good thing.
And certainly the MK needs another TS restaurant and DW is very excited about Lumiers / Beauty & the Beast restaurant being added.![]()
Speaking of DCA, someone posted a 6-part D23 video on eBay of a Wonderful World of Color presentation - I suspected that it was going to be pretty spectacular as soon as they announced it, but wow! This show sounds absolutely astounding. Maybe I will need to make it out to the West Coast soon...!
