Hi all

New on here so firstly a big HELLO

My first question is.....

Unfortunately, my family are not able to go again until 2011 so how do we cope for 3 years???

Welcome!! Plenty of visits to the Disney Store haha... and of course you have the knowledge you will going at a very magical time. 2011 will be the 40th anniversary of Disney World. Expect some great new stuff going on by then!

Being on here gets me thru until next years trip.We booked Christmas 2007 and now have only 7 months to go ,were getting there.I also love reading the trip reports on the UK+US boards,especially the ones with lots of pics in them,makes me feel like i am there.
We won't be going back until 2011(after next years trip),as the op said it will be the 40th Anniversary.Also if you're interested in IOA the new Harry Potter land will be open.The new Manta ride at Seaworld(opens 2009),plus theres bound to be lots more.
In 3 yrs you will have a wealth of knowledge by being on these boards-enjoy.x.

Sorry to hear that your next trip won't be for another 3 years. Advice, on getting through it? Have you considered mass suicide? Seriously, planning is a big part of the fun for most of us here, so take time to read all the great information here, ask lots of questions and start drawing up an itinerary.

We aren't going until Dec 2010 - so have also got a loooooooooong wait!!

However, I've found it gives you plenty of time to plan your itinerary, change your itinerary, choose your hotel, choose a different hotel, plan the length of stay , increase the length of your stay when you realise you can't possibly fit it all in otherwise!!!

And now thanks to this thread - I need to plan a 40th anniversary trip in 2011 as well!! - Must go I have another itinerary to write please excuse me - I'll be back later with more questions!!

Our last visit was Nov/ Dec last year and we probably won't be going until Nov/ Dec 2009 Then we're also hoping to be going in 2011 as it will be my Dad's 60th and what a better way to celebrate than to go to WDW for its 40th!
You won't want the time to go too quickly to your next hol as you'll be having to much fun on the DIS planning, meeting new friends and discussing all things Disney!!
