New Park And Expansions

i have heard that 1 maybe 2 more parks will be opening at universal in the next 5 years and will be having like a fast and furious ride(if they dont replace a ride in universal) theyll be getting new hotels and getting golf courses universal still has 2000 acres of land an im sure theyll use it

i seriously seriously dont think they are going to make 2 more parks in the next 5 years
universal doesn't seem to be making any more parks and the next ride possibility seems to be leading towards a new jp ride where pteranadon flyers is located

Another park is certainly not out of the question, but 2? Not likely. Definitely not in 5 years. They only have room for 1 more park on property, and that's if they make a few changes (like getting rid of a road that cuts down the middle of their undeveloped property). No way they could fit 2, or even part of a second. I don't know where you got the F&F rumor. Probably from IOAcentral. That isn't actually happening. It's just an idea someone had. The movie wasn't a big success and if they wanted to make an attraction for it, they already would have.

It is possible to to build the 2 parks in 5 years, the liklyhood though is another story.

Physically possible? Yes. Possible in every other form? No. They are still in debt from IOA. And no major theme park company builds 2 parks in 5 years at the same resort. Add IOA, and that'd be 3 parks in 10 years.

They might eventually build a third and then leave it at that. Where would they put a 4th park? It would have to be disconnected from the main resort. They barely have enough room left for a 3rd on property, if they even decide to build that. Then there's the issue of how they'd connect it to the rest of the resort. The way they have things situated, I can't imagine them stretching CityWalk all the way to the undeveloped property. We'd be talking major overhaul on the same level as CityWalk itself. The new park would probably need it's own entrance and parking garage, taking up further room. Then there's the 2 or more new hotels that would be necessary. I can't imagine a 3-park resort staying with only 3 hotels.

4 parks aren't practical. A third barely is.

does anyone know the amount of space ioa and universal takes up...just the parks though not the garage and citywalk

well i think they still have 2000 acres and that may be enough space and if they have to take out a road or somethin o well they can do it. park 4 may not happen for a very long time but there will be one trust me(may be 15 years may be 25 who knows).more updates soon.

One question where do u find this info u are all getting. a liitle off subject but does ny1 no wat is goin on behind that jurassic park hot dog vendor thing near twister in universal because when i was there in jan. it had a wall arouind it.

I'm pretty sure Universal sold the land after NBC bought them. I think there's room for one more hotel on their present site but not much more than that.

There's room for more than that. The undeveloped land is about the same size as IOA, but in a weird shape.
