New Parade at Epcot??

With Epcots 25th anniversery in 2007 do you think a parade will be added? What other attractions or special events do you think they will have or should have?

So far, I have read (rumor alert!) that Wonders of Life is closed for good and will be refurbished, France and Canada are getting new movies, the Mexico boat ride is going to be refurbed with the 3 Cabeleros characters, the new Nemo "sea-cabs" will be up and running by the end of 2006, Universe of Energy will be closing and refurbished into something else and they will paint Spaceship Earth bright pink with giant birthday hat on top.

(Totally joking about the SSE thing! But remember what they did to the castle for MK's 25th...) Other things are just rumors, but that's what floating around on the boards.

I think it's time to enhance IllumiNations, add some of the new fireworks like they have at "Wishes", give us new images and a new story-line, and a bigger grand finale like the Christmas "Peace on Earth" extension.

I heard a rumor a few months ago that there was a possibility of bringing back a parade that was similar to Tapestry of Nations/Dreams. Maybe they are cooking something up for Epcot's 25th.

you know we were not planning on a trip to disney in 2007, but if they were to bring back a tapestry of nations/dreams parade we might just reconsider. We loved that parade.

I really, really hope they do! I miss ToN/ToD more than any other parade. I would definitely be returning to the world next year for that!

I heard that there is going to be a new Epcot parade. The boat driver for our Illuminations Cruise told us that (and we all know how the CMs know exactly what's going on!)
Now I'm scared about SSE being turned into a pink birthday cake-some Disney executive may be reading these boards and think, "Hey, we hadn't thought of that, but now that you mention it, what a great idea!" So if they do it, tjmouse, it's all your fault!!
