I booked the Package on Friday. Here is how it is being advertised and the rules. We were at POFQ from 11/11-17.

There are currently two desks around WDW. One at Riverside, and one at the Beach Club. There was a card in our room (like on of those stand up cards they have the televison stations printed on) that had the ad for the free dinning. It had that picture of goofy with the frying pan saying there was a hot deal for us. It was the same promo as last Aug. I think it started mid August and went thru mid-Sept. I did get a slip of paper at Boatwrights advertising the deal. Some posters had reported getting info at CM, and we ate there and did not get any onfo.

The rate quoted was for the values for 5 nights/5 days and no park hopper. The deposit MUST be paid before your check out day ends.

We went over to Riverside, but we had missed the rep. There were cards to fill out for information. We had wanted to see if other resorts/lengths of stay were available. We filled out the card and flew home.

By the time I got home there was a message on my machine with the number to call. I called and found out that you can book any resort and length of stay. I booked POFQ next August from the 25-31 with a 6 day park hopper and the free dining. I had to pay the deposit there on the phone since that was my check out date. It saved about 600 bucks. This worked for us since we didn't want to pull DD out of school again.

They did check the system to make sure that I was a guest at FQ and had indeed checked out that day.

I'll answer any questions if I can.

no its the future stay program they are testing it
i was at gf last week and no one knew anything about it

Do you mind me asking the cost? I want to book your exact package next week...I just have to convice my husband that it's a good deal!

It is costing us 1965.38. That is Me, DH, and two DDs who will be 8 and 5 at the time of the trip. After I booked it, I checked the Disney website and put in the exact same info and go the same price. Then I added the Dining plan for our stay and it was around 600 more. So, with the free dining, we save the 600 bucks.

There is a time schedule of when the person will be there to give quotes and take bookings.

Have fun on your vacation.

what are the operating hours for the info desks at the two locations you listed??, or the phone call center you called??

I also booked a future stay...same package as we have booked the last two years. We booked party of 2 adults, Pop Century, with 10 day park hopper passes and free dining. Cost was $1496.00...exactly the same as listed on the Disney site without the dining. I'm not sure about the savings advertised ( $194.00) as this is exactly what we got by booking thru a t/a and then through the website the following year for around $1350.00. I figure the increase was just the yearly increase and not much anyway, but I don't understand the savings we're supposed to have by booking it now vs. later on the website. The CM kept telling me that the free dining might not be offered as it's being offered now for current guests. I guess I'll have to wait and see if it was a good idea to cough up my deposit now vs. later. Cost to upgrade to a moderate resort was about $700 (for the 10 nights) and about $1500 for a deluxe ( also for the 10 nights ), which I'm still considering. You are allowed to make any changes up to 45 days prior and then after that anything that reduces the cost of the package puts you in penalty...anything that increases the cost such as adding guests or upgrading the resort or ticket options would be fine. ---Kathy

dclfun , that means that it is possible that they will not offer the free dinning to general public? Sorry for my poor englih....vero.

My question is do you have to buy length of stay passes or can you buy just a one day MYW ticket? I've gone the last two years during the free dining period and because I have an AP have just purchased one day tickets. I wonder if we'll be allowed to do the same for next Sept? I know the free dining plan for Sept '07 has already been offered over in England, but they're having to buy length of stay tickets. This seems to be cutting AP holders out.

I think thats great you are getting in on the free dining. I hope they will offer it to us who are not able to go during the holidays. I would love another trip next aug. :wizard:

I think they'll still offer it like they did the last two years...wasn't it around May that we could book the free dining package for a stay in Aug- early Oct? This year it's only through Sept. 26th according to the stand-up in our resort room that I used to make the call and pre-book. The CM only said this in passing ( about the fact that it might not be offered except to those who book in advance ) and I'd think it would be based on space available anyway. Also yes, you can purchase just a one-day/one park ticket...in fact to add the park-hopper or water parks and more options it was an upgrade. The package this year comes with one park per day passes plus the free dining and you can choose how many days you want on the passes. ---Kathy

Thanks Kathy for the update. Yes I did notice the tweaking of the package, like starting it earlier in August and ending it earlier in September (which I'm sure has something to do with Colombus Day weekend, which means the participation in the plan would be over on Oct. 5 for all). I'm holding my breath that this package will still be available to all, or the pilot program will be extended as our last trip ended on Oct. 27th, which meant will missed it, and our next trip is Feb. 3rd. So hopefully we'll be able to book in early Feb. if it continues.

Just back from a two day stop in while on a business trip. DW called and relayed this news to me, so while sitting in watching BATB at MGM, got a hold of WDW reservations on the regular line. I was camping out at FWC, and leaving that day. She booked us for 8 days/7 nights CSR park hoppers free dining August 9-16 for $2,100 and change - called it the "August Bounce Back" promotion code. She did confirm that I was staying at the time, but did NOT require deposit on the spot - put it on hold for 14 days, at which time we need to pay the $200 deposit or release. After that we can make any changes we want (types of tickets and length, resort, numbers of nights) up to 45 days in advance.

We are going to be staying on property next week but it sounds like the phone number to call in (We will be at CR) could be hard to find. What is the number to call while on property for this deal? Thanks!

Can someone clarify:

Does the bounceback promotion go through Sept. 30, 2007?

Did the discount on the package add up to free dining for everyone on the package, or just for 2 adults?

Thanks!

I got free dining for everyone in my party - 2 adults and 2 kids (3-9).

FYI - The desks are manned for different hours. I am sorry, but I forgot the schedule. I do know at Riverside someone was there Monday night, that is when I had dinner there and no one was there on Friday until 1pm.

One person on this board said it was until Sept. 26, while I read Sept. 29 on another board. So it's one of these two dates for sure, and not Sept. 30.

"Requested arrival date must be on or between Aug 5, 2007 and Sept 29, 2007". Hope it helps :thumbsup2
