New Package Discount for Disney Visa Holders!

Just saw on Mousesavers that there is a new discounted package available for Disney Visa holders which should also become available to the general public around Aug 17. It is for travel from Oct 1-Dec 23 (I think) and there are no details yet as to what the offer is. Good luck everyone!

Well, I have the Visa and am travelling during that time. But I'm a passholder so I need a room only discount.

I just got off the phone and changed my reservation to thispackage:

WL Courtyard 5 nights, 2 adult 1 day base tickets= 1396.50
My AAA was- $1555.00

Quoted for Poly Garden View: 5 nights, 2 adult 1 day base tickets= 1705.90

This is for Nov.10-14

I called. we already have AAA rate at POR from nov 21 to nov 26.
for my time frame...i could only get CS with room and 4 day hopper for $1050 or CBR same thing for $1145.

no values and only BW or YC are available for my dates.

You have to call CRO not visa to get the discount and if it just is coming out some cm's may not know about it yet. Call back on either the 407 or the 1800-828-0228

Woo Hoo!!!!! I booked it! I just called about 2 hours ago and changed my room only ressie to a dining package with tickets!

I priced it out online at reg. prices and I WOULD have paid $2,725.43 for 7 nights at Pop with 8 day hoppers and dining. With this discount I am paying $2,243.59 for the exact same thing! That is a savings of $501.84!!!!!!!

When the lady 1st answered she said she didn't know of any disney visa discount but she looked it up and there it was! I will say though that she was a ding bat!! I told her my dates and was speaking very slowly and clearly and she put booked it for one less night then we wanted!!! she also gave me the water park tickets!! So i had to call back and get all that straightened out! Took forever!! But it was worth it for $500!!

Forgot to add that it is for 2 adults 1 teen and 1 child!

Thanks for the code info. Yes, you have to put it on your Disney Visa. Asked the CM about deals later in the week for genreal public, said he did not know about anything.

mhanback -- not sure myself. I called Disney first and the rep had to sit and read the details to herself before explaining to me since it was just released. I then called and had our AAA rep book the packages for us. I didn't even bother to ask about anything else that it included.

I called the main reservation number and she found it fine, even verified the dates which did not include my Jan 2007 dates.

Based on the numbers above posted by bkcwilliams, that's looking like $60 per night for a value resort during value season if they are not giving a discount on the tickets.

I went to the WDW site and priced 2 adult and 1 child - 7 day hoppers for a total of $631.55 after tax. That leaves $476.51 for the room charge. Divide that by 7 and you get $68.07 per night after tax. Divide that by 1.13 to back out the 13% tax and you get $60.24 per night.

I'm assuming that the total above ($1107.86) is after taxes. If not, then my numbers are wrong.

If anyone else wants to post their dates, number of people, resort, tickets, and total price (after or before tax)....I can back it out and see what the approximate value of the resort room would be.

Just called about our reservation at WL. We are arriving Oct. 19th, departing Oct 22nd. 5 people, two rooms. I've paid 1933.60. I could switch this to a package with a 1 day ticket for each person plus dining for 2602.95. In the end I decided not to. We're passholder and I have the DDE. I'm going to hope for a room only code but if not I'm happy anyway. That's a good deal though for anyone looking.

This sounds great and I'm hoping they open it to the public (we're in the same boat as another poster, no credit apps as we're going to be buying a home soon as well!). I'm hoping that the savings is enough that we can upgrade to one of the mods for somewhat close to the same price that we paid for a value.
