New Owner question....

Hi folks...

Bought into DVC recently, and I have a question regarding 2 of the resorts...

Now I own at VWL... and I have a reservation for August 2012 for a 2 bedroom for 5 nights... leading up to my first Disney Cruise (yay me).

Our friends are booked at BLT for the same time (big group of us going on the cruise). They've offered to switch their reservation to VWL... But I could potentially do the same... at 7 months... no? (meaning switch my reservation to BLT ... using a few more points).

My question(s) to you... Which would you prefer? A 2 bdrm at VWL, or BLT? Which has a better pool? Also... is it even feasible to think that I might get a 2 bdrm Lake view for 2nd to last week in August?

What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts...

Well either one of you could switch at the 7 month mark. BLT being the newer of the 2 resorts I would think it would be pretty nice to check that place out. Lastly on the demand side, not sure what August will hold for availability but if i were a betting person I would say your chances are good.

Take what ever you can get, both resorts are nice in their own way and until you experience them for yourself you won't know if you want to add them to your list of favorites.

I have stayed at both and don't think you can really go wrong either way. We prefer BLT because of the location and the ease to MK.

I don't think you will have trouble getting a 2 bedroom if you call right at the 7 month mark.
