New Orleans Mint Julep

i've always wanted to try one but i'm too chicken! I'm scared it'll be too sweet!

i FINALLY tried the mint julep. if people werent around..i wouldve spit it right back out. it tasted like toothpaste.

On our last trip I decided to try one with dinner at Blue Bayou. It was not really something I would order again. I like mint-flavored things, but the combo of the soda with the mint was not my thing.

It was nice to try it though.
