New online dining system?!

OK, I'm getting it now..

But, it says:

We are unable to retrieve dining reservations at this time. Please try again later.

Does this really mean try again later, or does it mean that the system doesn' have any reservations under my account? (I was logged in when I made them).

I think it means that it is probably being hit pretty hard and just keep trying

It seems like I get it every other time that I log in -- the other times I am back to the old!!

Hope they switch to the new one permanently soon!

Does it also give you cancelled ADRs?

I'm also getting the old one, but i did get a message that IE 6.0 is not supported by the new reservation system. I'm at work, and our IT has not yet upgraded. Grrr!

LeesyUD, you can easily do another search right after you confirm your reservation.

Where does the new system ask for your reservation number to link DDP to your hotel?

I'm not sure if there is another way to link all of your dining reservations to your resort reserv...but if u sign into the WDW website..it automatically links all your ADR's and your resort and/or tickets together!

I am trying really hard not to freak out.....I have made 18 ADR's and only 3 of them are showing up on the new and "improved" system.

Yeah, me too. I have 9 days of DxDP, and only 2 of my ADRs are showing up on this new system. I also know exactly what the issue is. Only the 2 that I made by phone, which the CM used my home phone, are showing up. All my other ones, which I made online and entered my cell phone, are not showing. It doesn't matter that the email account is the same, or that I linked them with my resort reservation when I made them. They are not showing. I'm Type-A, so of course, I'm I hope they fix it within the next week. I don't want to wonder all the way til September if my ADRs are OK.

what worries me about the new system. Is that the only reservation that shows up in my queue is one that I didn't even make!!!

This happened to me as well, I just got the confirmation numbers from the emails I received after booking, and was able to pull them up like that. As long as you have those confirmation emails, you have the reservations.

Thanks Ckelly. I tried that out and for check in date, you can only put up to 180 days from now so I just did that, even though mine is a little more and it accepted it. I guess it is not actually checking the reservation information you put in!

Right now I can't pull mine up by confirmation number in the old system...and the new system tells me I have no reservations. But I called and the CM on the phone was able to pull them all up with no problems---thank goodness since we leave on Saturday!

So I have just read through all 4 pages and it seems no one has had any luck finding a place to type in the dining confirmation number. Is this correct? I only have 2, Tusker House is showing up and TRex is not . It will allow me to reserve TRex still so I know that they did not do away with it as an option. Luckily I have my confirmation number and I will call the restaurant directly in the morning. I love the new system.

Try a different browser. I typically use Firefox (both at home and at work). I decided to hop on Google Chrome since I've never logged into the Disney site with that, and the new system is showing there (and still old on Firefox).

Also of note, only the 3 I made since I booked my resort reservation are displaying. I can get to the old retrieve format though (if I use Firefox) so I'll have to test getting them in there when I get to work tomorrow (my spreadsheet is on my work computer at the moment)

Also to add. This means that I'll need to update that ADR tutorial thing... doh.

I was wondering if the reservation numbers are even being checked right now. I confirmed with the Swan and Dolphin that people staying there DO NOT have 180+10 privledges.

So I went to the reservation system, made up a bogus number, and Presto! It worked.

It's a free for all!
