New online checkin form is available for cruise next month

Saw on the DIS that DCL is making changes to the checkin form to expedite the embarkation process. We are cruising next month so had already completed our forms. Checked last night and the new form is loaded so I printed it out.

Yes, small steps to our cruise excite me.

I read elsewhere that there were some online forms you could sign digitally instead of printing out. Do you know what else has changed?

There are changes/enhancements to the forms parents fill out for the kids' clubs, etc.. It does not affect us so I just skimmed but there is lots of detail at the Disney cruise line blog. He says this is the biggest change and it certainly looks it.

The youth clubs page now asks if the child can eat in clubs, if they can participate in cooking class, if they can use play doh, face paint, and the like.

The new features are already enabled on the website, you can print/reprint your check in form that won't require any signatures at the port, just a single sheet (depending on how many were listed on the cruise in the original form it sometimes ended up being 2 or 3 sheets) now and very easy. As well as the Youth activities and restrictions check in section too. It's made for a much more streamlined terminal check in process and save time for passengers having to go to the clubs or guest services to have sign up for such things.

Tried printing and the only thing that printed was the Disney Cruise line and bar code at the top and the green check marks and red ! That's it. No text.

Try using a different Internet Browser or clearing your cache in the browser. I printed the new version for our April WBPC trip with no problem all the info printed just fine.
