**NEW Official September 2012 Thread!**

I've considered a mini trip - can't get DH to agree to it though.
DD keeps asking if we can leave tomorrow to go back (have to know, she just turned 4 two weeks ago - today is actually DS's 2nd birthday!)
Sorry, I wandered...anyways, I explained to DD that we weren't going back until after summer and she told me she wants summer to go away so we can get back!

Haha! I totally understand. I saw on one website somthing that might be fun to do. Maybe once a week, or every two weeks or something, have a "Disney Night" where you watch disney movies and have a "disney" themed dinner (maybe mickey pancakes, or have seafood and watch little mermaid! ). It helps build the anticipation and makes the time go by a bit quicker! I also found this craft on another thead, and it could be fun to do to help pass time. We're going back to Disney World September 8 - 15 and staying at BLT. This will be the first time we are staying in a 2 bedroom villa because we are also going to have 2 of our DS's with us. This is the first time they have been back to the World since our DD's Wish Trip in 1998! We will be celebrating our DD's 26th Birthday! Looking forward to the trip, but the weather not so much.....

Still at planning stage for a trip Sep 17-27ish...
Love reading everyone's plans but it makes me feel unprepared.
Coming from Australia, a family group, 7 adults and 5 kids.
We are thinking about staying in 3x AoA family suites for 5days and 3x 2bd villa's at SS for the other 5days.

We have a family of 4
A family of 5
Parents
Single Adult Brother

Happy for any advice

My advice is once you've decided where you are gonna stay, book it as soon as possible! Then you can start looking at park times and start thinking about ADR's, especially with a group so large.

We will be with a group of 7 and our general plan is to have one table service meal a day so we can all come together, but then we don't need to spend the rest of the day together, however we will still be in the same park each day.

Best of luck! The planning is half the fun!

Although it's nice to experience different resorts, I think you'll be glad you are staying put in SSR for the whole trip...trying to move a crowd midway would be too much stress for me After choosing the resort, my favorite part of planning is what parks on what days and then the ADRs! Have fun with it

I hope you have a wonderful time!! What I wouldn't give to have my extended family go with me. I practicly had to bribe my sister and her family to go with us (i'm paying for her whole family), and now i'm kinda regretting it. I'm worried since they aren't as psyched about it as we are that they will bring us down! I'm just soooo jealous of everyone who has friends and family who enjoy disney with them and are able to contribute to the excitement!

We stayed at the Poly last year and loved it. It was nice to come back after the parks to a relaxing hotel with the hawaiian music playing as we walked to our room. I'm excited to try other resorts, but I'm also a little sad not to be staying there again! Hope you love it as much as we did!
