Congrats! where are you staying?

We leave on the 7th and come back on the 21st. We've just come back from our disney wedding and I can't wait to go back, we wanted to go in October but because of both our work places it was a no go. Oh well... guess we're going back earlier then planned :goodvibes

Hi! :goodvibes

We're staying at the Dolphin! Where will you be?

Congratulations on your wedding - I can't imagine how great it must have been to have a Disney wedding - I hope it was wonderful :)

We are officially booked for Sept. 22-28 at WL CL! I'm so excited for baby girl's first trip and my mom and step-dad's first trip to WL!

My eldest son is 4yo and has SPD and Autism. He keeps having meltdowns. I am starting to rethink my trip.

:wave2: Hi there! I'm Meghan. :flower3:

I haven't been to Disney since May of 09 and it's been far to long! I've decided to plan a trip with some of my friends for September 20-27! I'm hoping to sway them to stay at the Poly or a split stay at ASMu and the Poly. I've never been in September (Nov/May are my usual choices) but September works for everyone planning on going so I'm trying something new! I'm so excited to finally have another trip coming and I'm glad I found this thread now!:lovestruc

Have you been before? (sorry if you said & I missed it)

My DS6 has autism (and we strongly suspect ADHD as well). I was terrified before our trip in 2010. It was supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip, but it went so well that we're headed back next year. DS6 (he had just turned 5 at the time) loved it. He does have some traits that are atypical of most people with autism, one being that he is a sensory seeker, so rides were just heaven for him (lots of input there) and he loves characters.

I hope you do decide to go on your trip, but of course, only you know what's best for your family. Please make sure you check out the disABILITIES board, they were very helpful when planning our trip.

How uncanny! I booked the other night for next year and came on here to see if anyone had started a September '12 thread ... and it was right at the top of the page (where is should be ;))

We are going to be at POFQ from September 6th to 23rd :cool1:

Welcome as well! We are thinking of staying at Poly...all depends on if we can get a discount or not. DH is very nervous about staying at the Art of Animation while construction is still going on.

Congrats and welcome!!!

This is our 2nd thread...the previous thread was closed because the OP wasn't going on her trip any longer, so I posted a new one and we keep getting wonderful new friends to bump it up. :)

Well you are a wonderful hostess  I am sure as more promotions come out over the next year plenty more folk will be joining the party :yay:

There are a lot of "quiet" places at Disney. Definitely check out the disabilities thread. You would be pleasantly surprised at how accomodating the resorts can be. A less "structured trip" allowing down time might work well IMO..Good luck! Happy planning!

Ooh that sounds like a fun idea!!!
Like an ice cream social :goodvibes My kiddos are so excited for next year. I want to add a day to the end for DS 4th B-day, but I don't want them to miss too much school...

As of today no Bouncebacks in the rooms. The FD one from summer recently expired...Bad timing for me. But it is OK. We are still going, but we changed our resort to the Poly.

Count me in! Sep 8-16!!! Staying at CSR cant wait!! Actually, I will be putting our deposit down this afternoon.:cool1::banana::woohoo:

And we might be staying at Poly if we can get free dining! How cool!

Our trip was fantastic! Totally different experience going without kids! More crowded than I expected. They overbooked the GF (I tried to surprise DH with Honeymoon room) but we got an awesome suite at YC :goodvibes Can't wait until next year :dance3:

Hi! :goodvibes

We're staying at the Dolphin! Where will you be?

Congratulations on your wedding - I can't imagine how great it must have been to have a Disney wedding - I hope it was wonderful :)

We'll be staying at Pop Century.

We actually booked it the other day so it's now official, so I can now be added to the list 7th to the 21st :goodvibes:banana::banana:

I'm going in my very first trip with my BF sept 3rd - 17th and I can't wait. I think I might be getting some Disney withdrawals by that time (it might have already started) And we're staying at POFQ.

I can imagine it was a different experience without the kids! How fun. Did you miss them terribly or were you able to enjoy yourself? We did a 4 day trip to NYC (I'm in Chicago) and while we had a great time, by the last day I missed them like crazy. I hope the next 9-10 months go by fast for the both of us!!

We'll be staying at Pop Century.

Yay!!! I updated you. :)

Yaaay, i need to update my dates to sept 8-19!! So excited! :woohoo:

Awesome! I updated you. :)

We just booked a bounceback on 11/18 for 9/21 - 10/3 at the Ft Wilderness Cabins!!!

Welcome!! I added you to our list!

Welcome to you as well! I added you to our list, also. And I know what you mean...it'll be over 3 years since we last visited WDW and I am having major withdrawals. I've got enough to keep me busy but in the dead of winter, it'll be hard. :surfweb:
