New "Official" Frozen: 2015 Frozen Summer Fun June 17 to Sept 7!

I have to use my dining package pass at first one right?

Yes. I'm not sure that 5 minutes early is going to get you that left exit. They might only have the Sunset exit open. We left early as soon as the character boat came out and we ended up on Sunset the last time we saw F!

My oldest son would love the dessert party but he's not interested in the singalong or parade. IMHO, the fireworks are a close 2nd place to SWW fireworks being my favorite.

My oldest thought the historians were really funny at the singalong. Once was good for him. He doesn't have any desire to see it a second time.

There's no comparison to the SWW parade. This is a completely different parade. Instead of having celebrities on stage, this parade stops on Hollywood Blvd and at the Hyperion Theater for guests to sing Let it Go with the people in the parade.

Does anyone know how long the parade is? When would it be expected to get to its stop in front of Hyperion theater for example? Thanks!

If you are at the entrance or exit gates it takes 5 minutes to go by you. By 10:52, it had gotten to us at the exit gate that very first day.

I have a picture from another day showing 10:47 the parade was stopped at the Hyperion. But I took the picture after it had already stopped and was still stopped.

There are links with pictures from the dessert party in the first post of this thread under info about the Frozen Premium Package.

Hi all! Im tring to follow all this. So excited to see Frozen summer. It will be our first time. My dd18 and I are Frozen fanatics. My ds9 hates it..lol My dd13 tried out in her dance studio and got the part of Elsa for her musical theater class and performed in her recital in May! It was so cool. Anyway.. as you can see we love Frozen.

I didn't purchase the package..just not in the budget. So for someone who is not in the dessert party..Im confused on what and where I should see all the fun. I got that the parade is twice at 10:30 and 1:30<?>. I gathered from this thread to go to Hollywood Blvd across from the Starbucks for a good seat and that the left side was shaded at the 1030 one. The sing a long is all day. I was just talking about how I am wondering if I should fp this..or maybe it isn't necessary. We are fast passing toy story and tot...but then debating between frozen and star tours. But I had read star tours has a good chance of the 4th fp but not so much Frozen.

I thought I read there was a short movie too? Where do I go for that? We will be attending the fireworks and thank goodness there is a second f!!

TIA

Sounds like a Frozen family. Hopefully, ds will come around once he's there, even if he won't admit it, lol. If not, there's non-Frozen things too.

All the Frozen stuff is near each other. Olaf's Cool Down show is at the event stage. The sing-along is at the Hyperion Theater. The Frozen short is at the previous Sounds Dangerous. The parade runs from Hollywood Blvd towards Star Tours.

Have fun!

I was able to walk right onto Star Tours 8 times yesterday. Saw all possible planets and characters and was the Rebel Spy once. Aside from the music and the banners I avoided anything Frozen. Frozen Summer Fun is the best!

Lol. You just had to let it go. See easy to avoid since everything is centrally located.

That's pretty cool about Star Tours. Was DJ Elliot there or did you hop over to Epcot?

We went to only the parade and singalong today.

Elliot was there. Epic as always. At one point it began to rain hard so I rode Robert Osborne's Greatest Movie Ride Ever! Or GMR as everyone still calls it. After that I ended up going on Muppets and Star Tours. By the time I was done with those I could not get back in front of the stage so I watched 4th of July fireworks from Hollywood Blvd. After the fireworks I rode Star Tours a bunch more. It was sad not seeing Mulch, Sweat and Tears on stage for the fireworks. Their prerecorded music that played during the fireworks was awesome. I swayed my lightsaber during Free Bird. I guess I will have to wait until New Year's Eve to see Mulch, Sweat and Tears on stage again. Those guys are amazing.

Edit: And my plan was to go to Epcot in the morning to take pictures with patriotic characters and watch Voices of Liberty but I overslept. So unpatriotic.

The audio is crummy: I was testing out an Action Camera. It is made to take a beating not record good audio.

@Gianfootography sounds like you had a great 4th. At least you can catch them on the streets in the meantime.

True, I got there just in time for their last performance yesterday at 4:15 p.m. but it was not the awesomest members. (Or maybe I should say not the members I am more accustomed to seeing?) Hopefully next time I go for a Non-Frozen day (which might be soon to finally see Baymax since I hear he is going away) it will be them.

What's your date? Looks like most nights have 2 F!

Thanks - sorry for the delay - not been on here for a few days. It's Tues 25 August. When I've looked I've only seen one F! at 8.30 but MDE has been glitchy for me recently!!

Made my fastpasses last night. Have a questions about the timing of the Frozen parade. We have a Star Tours for 1:15-2:15. If we enter Star Tours at 1:10, would we be able to make the parade? I saw that it ends at Star Tours. What time would that be at? 1:45. We are hoping to then go straight to the Indiana Jones 2:00 show (don't really care about great seats).

Do you guys think this is possible? If not I will do the 10:30 parade... it just seems to flow good for the 1:30 one. At 10:30 I'm hoping for still shorter waits and Rockin Roller and TOT.

You'll probably be held up in a large group of people behind a rope, unless you are lucky enough to get off the ride before it gets roped off. If it's not roped off yet, make your way across the street to the Backlot Express for better viewing. The parade won't stop there and takes about 5 minutes to pass by there.

Thanks! Knowing that makes me want to do the 10:30 parade. We may just miss out on one more TOT or Rockin but we are going back end of week with fastpasses for those two. This is the last day for the parade (unless it gets extended) so I would be upset if we miss the rope off and gets bottlenecked. Hoping for the 11:00 Jedi Training so will just position ourselves close to that area if we get the 11:00 Jedi.

If your aiming for the 10:30 parade, you might want to position yourself near the Hyperion Theater so you can see it stop and the characters/skaters/ice carvers/skiers circling around. Kristoff and Olaf don't get off their floats. You'd be close to JTA too.
