New "Official" Frozen: 2015 Frozen Summer Fun June 17 to Sept 7!

I don't know anything about the Frozen summer events at HS, so I was wondering if any of these events required FP+? We had to cancel our trip in May and I recently started looking into the possibility of going at the end of July for a few days. My original plan was just to visit MK and Epcot, but once I learned about this I realized I need to find a way to go to HS as well! But I didn't know if any of these were FP+ events and if so would you need 60 day advance FP+ to get them.

It's not required, but there is a FP+ available for the sing-along. I would suggest this during peak times or arrive 30 minutes early.

Just saw that they will have the parade two times a day - that should help with congestion for those watching the parade! I wonder if FSF premium package will be announced anytime soon...

As @Ferrentinos mentioned, newc Info had been released with the procession happening twice. See Disney park blog link http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...isneys-hollywood-studios-june-17-september-7/

From Disney Park Blog:

- Royal Welcome will be done twice!

- The singalong is moving the AIE building which name is/will be changing to Hyperion Theater (formerly Superstar Television Theater).

- New theater effects will be added to the singalong show.

- This is new! "Olaf’s Summer Cool Down – Several times each day, the Ambassador of Hollywoodland brings Olaf and some of his friends to the Event Stage to have a little fun with everyone “In Summer.” And as temperatures heat up, Olaf happily shares a burst from his personal snow cloud to cool things off."

- New, for the DJ dance party, you can request songs and share photos via a hashtag!

- New, Olaf joins the stage for the firework show!

The first post of this thread is updated with the new information. :)

Now that we have new information about FSF starting in June, here's hoping information will come soon about the 24 hours FSF kick off event in May.

The fireworks ate in addition to Fantasmic! They are 15 minutes before park closing. Every night!
Is it possible to see both in the same night? We only have one evening planned to be at DHS; right now the park is scheduled to close at 8:00 with Fantasmic at 8:30. Do you think the park hours will be extended? I don't think the sun will have set by 7:45pm in August.

We also have an 8:00am ADR at H&V. If there is an opening show like last year, where will people coming from H&V breakfast be held? I was going to do TSMM first thing after the breakfast but if its going to be a crazy mass of people I will change my plans.

Side note: I don't really understand why Disney feels the need to hold people back at the show. Let those who want to watch the show do so, and those who don't move on to other attractions. Purposefully creating a bottleneck in crowds doesn't seem very smart.

I would expect park hours to change. And it is possible to do both.

Depends on the time and what's happening at the event. Welcome ceremony if same as before would give you access only to Hollywood Blvd if your breakfast is prior to park opening.

Even the stores were closed until the welcome was done.

-Olaf will not have a M&G. More than likely, neither will Kristoff or the sisters. But you'll have multiple times through out the day to see them.

-The parade will pause twice. Once on Hollywood Blvd and once by Hyperinflation Theater.

-No Snowground or skating rink confirmed.

I'm so excited they're bringing this back! I'm planning a trip with a few friends and I'm Frozen crazy, so I'm really happy I'll finally get to be able to experience this!

I'm trying to plan around a crowd calendar, and for our trip, the one day HS is most recommended is because it closes at 6 PM. Will there still be fireworks with that time closing? I'm trying to stick to the crowd calendar, but I don't want to miss the fireworks!

It depends if it's closing for a private party. I don't think the park would be dark enough at 6pm.

Disney announced a new offer for cool summer savings on room only up to 30% from June 16 to Aug 27

Hopefully the Feel the Force packages will get announced soon for SWW... I hope after those get announced to hear something about FSF Premium Package!!! Anyone else waiting for that announcement?

Someone brought it to my attention that another site lists the first 10 days in June as the Frozen singalong being closed. Rumor at this point, but for anyone going the beginning of June you may want to keep that in the back of your mind as a possibility as you plan.

Still waiting to hear about premium package...Hope to hear soon!

This just makes things difficult now. We had planned to only go to DHS possibly one evening (after one of the water parks), if at all. Not sure if we can stick to that plan now. However, if we were to arrive at DHS say around 5pm...is the processional/parade the only thing we would likely miss out on?
This is EXACTL my issue too! I was thinking of skipping it. DISers talked me into it (I posted a thread). I decided I would go after a water park day just for Fantasmic. I didn't even think DD was a big Frozen fan but she saw the page up on my laptop and squealed....ugh.
