*** New Official February 2013 Thread ***

We have ordered the regular photopass but I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a photo machine (like a Kodak one you find in Walmart etc) anywhere in the parks or DTD where I can get photos from my camera printed?

So in the last 2 weeks my son, husband and daughter have had the stomach flu. The virus spread to another system for my daughter and she is still battling a cough, sore throat and pain in her sinuses. Yesterday morning I was at church and feeling very sick to my stomach. Spent the rest of the day between my bed and the bathroom.

Today I am weak but on the mend. This is all means that none of us will be sick for our trip in a month. I know there is no logic to that but I've already told everyone they simply aren't allowed to be sick until March so they are on notice:rotfl:

Bleh.. vacation can't come soon enough!

We've already had the flu, DH spent Thanksgiving Day in bed, so now the only thing I'm worried about is getting norovirus - stomach flu. I'll been washing my hands a lot. :worried:

I called Disney this morning and added the dining plan. We are only eight days away and my DH was getting very nervous about not having added the DDP yet. I wanted to wait until my credit card billing period rolled over before adding the charge. It did and now I don't have to pay for the trip until late March. :cool1: And I got a very good CM who had no trouble keeping my room discount intact. The only disadvantage of waiting so long to book the package is that the souvenir luggage tags will be waiting at the desk. We already have Disney luggage tags from prior trips, so that's fine with me.

My husband is very glad that I found the DIS forums. I've learned a lot of good tips. :disrocks:

We are there next Tuesday - I'm very excited. :yay:

I cannot help myself, I guess. I feel the need to create chaos, I guess. I am leaving in 2 days....arrive in Orlando in 3 days and I wait until today, to decide we really should add Discovery Cove to our trip.

I see the day in question (Friday 2/8) is supposed to be Sunny and 78 degrees. I really think that's doable. I was thinking all along that it would be too cold for my comfort. But that's a good temp, right? My son really, really wants to go badly and he has an awesome underwater camera that attaches to a headband (Action Shot), so he's right: it would be PERFECT for DC. If only I knew exactly how to get there & back and how much it will cost - we will have no car.

Do you think I can wait until we're down there to get the tickets?? I wonder if the ever sell out during this time of year. :confused3

By the way - if I do this... it will take the place of our 3rd MK day...so no big loss, really. Right??

AHHHHHH - MY DH WOULD KILL ME IF HE KNEW THIS WAS ON MY MIND!!

I DID IT! I just bought the DC tickets. Can't believe I just spent that much $ on top of our trip costs. Oh well.... It's done and now I have more stuff to plan! The DC ticket includes admission to Aquatica and SeaWorld. Not sure if I'll take advantage or not, but the wheels are a turnin'

Add my name to the list for a trip this month, (Well starting in Feb, ending in March.) We ill be staying at POR, The 27th-4th. Wife, and 3 boys ages 8/4/2.

I see you already added this part, but I was going to tell you should look into Mears Shuttle. That's what we use for getting to Universal. We don't rent a car.

8 days until we arrive!! I can't wait. We had snow and freezing rain last night. Its suppose to warm up then go cold again by the end of the week. As long as I can get to the airport by Tuesday I don't care how cold and snowy it is haha.

We got the Photopass + this time.

Come on Tuesday!!

We are traveling on Tuesday, too. We had freezing rain yesterday. All I'm hoping for at this point is to not have any rain or snow or ice or fog next Tuesday when we leave Chicago. :goodvibes

I can't believe I just now found this thread! DH, myself, and our almost 2 year old daughter will be at AKL on Saturday. Can't wait!

Update on my photopass situation! I posted to the main board too, but it gets buried fast lol. Anyways I called the photopass #, told them I had regular PP, wanted to upgrade to PP+ but didn't have 2 weeks lead time. She asked if I had booked my trip through Disney and I said yes. She told me to call the reservation line and have it added to my package, and then she refunded my regular PP. She was right, I called the line and you can add Photopass+ at the pre-order discount to your package up to 2 days before you leave and get the voucher when you check in! I just gave her a credit card for the difference. So if you're less than 2 weeks out and need to order it (and you booked your vacation through Disney) then there is still hope. From everything I had read I thought I was SOL.

So I can just call the main Ressie phone number? What exactly is the difference in price ?

Yes, the 407-W-DISNEY number, price difference is $30. Good luck!

ETA: If you already bought the regular PP you'll have to call the Photopass customer service to refund it.

Oh, okay. So I need to call Photopass service first to cancel the original and a second call to the main line to rebuy it with the plus option.... Right?

Thanks to everyone that has given advice on photopass and pp+ :)
We've narrowed it down to pre-purchase of regular photopass but still haven't committed! There is plenty of time to decide.

Well we had 3 days until we left, but now we decided to leave tomorrow and take our time driving. We're probably going to stop at my aunt's in Tennessee. We check in on Friday!! I can't wait!! =)

Happy travels to y'all that are leaving soon!! I'm perfectly cool with being last to go :) I'm the girl that schedules our summer vacation for mid August because I hate my trip being over and hearing about people leaving after me haha!!
