New Oct. 21 hours AGAIN!!!

I just looked up the schedule for when I am going to be at DLR (Oct. 19-25).
It now says Disneyland hours are 9am-8pm. Wonder what happened?? Oh, well. It is great news for us that are going to be there then, IF it is true!!!

I don't want to put a damper on your plans but have you checked the DL website for the hours? I just did and it still says there is a special event that day and they have shortened hours listed at the top of the page in red font. I hope I'm not the bearer of bad news but I'd want to know so that I could make plans. We will be in the parks the day after for the first day of our trip. We will hopefully get into Anaheim by 9:30pm and want to at least do DTD on the 21st.

I saw the same thing as Husker did just now. While the calendar hours say 10-8 the writing on top says 9-5 on 10/21.

My DD's school will be on min. day all that week (Corona/Norco S.D.) so beware, you'll see more locals during that week!

I just went back to the entertainment schedule. I had looked up my dates. I put in Oct. 19 and 7 days. In looking it up this way, there was no red font at the top of the page. Only when you look up the single day. I think others will get messed up this way, too. And to the PP, I just hope it won't be like the whole state of Utah is there. Ha Ha!

Dizneydaz, what are min. day hours? Does your dd get out at noon? Also, I just called the 714-781-7290 line. The lady said that there is no mention of private party in their system. They have opening at 9 am (MM at 8 am) and closing at 8 pm. You never know. We can all hope!

DD's school gets out at 12:45 all that week for parent/teacher conferences. All tracks (year round school) will be getting off early. She's in elementary school-I don't know if middle school is also off. I plan on going a couple times during that week.

They also have one of these every month and most of the time I take her to DLR. I usually pick her up early and grab lunch on the way. I know alot of students at her school have AP and go there on min. days. We've run into a few. But still the crowds should be low, much better than the weekends. We'll be going there this Wed.

As to Utah, my DNiece is off the week before from U of U and is coming to visit. Small world, huh?

Hope they are open later for you on the 21st.

This really sucks! I purposely made dinner reservations at Steakhouse 55 for that night at 6:00 PM, thinking "We might as well have our nice dinner then, since the park closes super early." I'll have to see what my party wants to do now. Aargh!

Hey there! I'm back & my Boo's are good again for the season (can't possibly take them off from last year...lol..) We're also there Oct. 19-25! No way to recognize us in particular except for my 3 year old (turning 4 this trip) who is talking constantly and I'm running after her saying "Morgan!" Lol...hope to see you all there having fun!
