I had an IV stuck into me on Monday of this week and my hand is still bruised.

when they pull it out, if you squeeze that part of your hand where it was, it keeps it from bruising. (my mom had to do it, cause well..im one handed. lol)

the best place for an iv is on the side of your wrist or the back of your hand, cause you still have basically a full range of motion.
