new nemo ride/attraction at Living Seas in Epcot

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the new Nemo attraction at the Living Seas pavillion? I have read somewhere that the attraction was to open in Sept. Does anyone know for sure? What exactly is the attraction? Thanks for any info. Our trip will be Sept 9 -17 really hoping it will be open. Thanks for the info.

There's a few things we do know.

It's an omnimover (like Haunted Mansion and Buzz Lightyear), and the vehicles are the like clamshells and thus named "clamobiles." Right now they (imagineering) are installing show scenes, and the work can be seen through the tank at the Living Seas.

Attractions hosts are being recruited internally, with interviews set for July 28th. An official opening date is unknown, but with the hosts being recruited now, it could very well be open by sometime in September. The conservative estimates place the opening in October, but no official date has been set internally or announced.

As it stands, the ride will be ready when it's ready

Right now, all we can confirm is that the vehicles are being added, the system is functional and does move (meaning major track work is done) and workers have been seen in the tank working on show scenes (moving lights, etc) and painting.

Is this going to be built on the old track that used to move people through the Living Seas? Makes sense to use it. When I did the Dive Quest we had a blast waving to people underneath us. To see the shock on their faces was priceless!

Let's hope they are ahead of schedule and it will be ready for early - mid September!!!
