My family and I are going to WDW between end October and start November. :cheer2: :yay:
We are big fans of Nemo and I have noticed that that there is a new Nemo ride opening at Epcot (fall 2006) and a new Nemo musical at AK (late 2006). Has anyone got any info on these - especially opening / preview dates - as we are really hoping to do them? :)

:thumbsup2 I'll pm you with website that has some info on it.

I wish these were open sooner. We'll be there in July with a 4 year old Nemo fan. At least he doesn't know he will just barely be missing fun Nemo stuff.

I can tell you a little about the Nemo show at AK. It's going into the old Tarzan Rocks theater, which they are currently enclosing. They just had auditions for it a couple of weeks ago. They tell us it will feature many live singer/actors as well as puppets and dancers, with all new music. I've heard the sets and costumes are amazing. It's schedualed to open in November.

I assume soft openings are some kind of dress rehearsal for new rides and not padded doorways. :joker: (sorry that was awful!)

If so....

Has anyone heard any rumours of soft openings for either of these new attractions?

Are soft openings normal or the exception?

Thanks :wave2:

I knew there was a new Nemo musical coming, and I knew there was going to be a Nemo ride in Disneyland , but I hadn't heard anything about a new EPCOT ride...anyone got any new on this?

We're going in early Oct and I'm hoping hoping hoping we'll be able to see some sort of soft opening of the new Nemo ride in EPCOT. I'm less hopeful the theater production at AK will be ready by then. Something to look forward to on our next trip.

Does anyone think the Nemo attraction at Epcot will be open by the last week of October? We would love to be among the first to see it

I'm going to GUESS (absolutely nothing to back this up other than conjecture) that at least one or the other will be open the first week of October. It would only make sense as they will be kicking off the new celebration, and how better to do it than to also announce a new attraction?

here's to hoping since I'll be there the first week of November! :goodvibes

Hmmm...sounds like maybe they are opening back up the ride portion of Living Seas, but redone with a Nemo theme...hmmm... :listen:
