new nemo attraction

hi anyone else been on the new nemo ride yet?
we were there from 1st oct for two weeks and we had one day it was open to everyone to ride,thought it was really good,especially when they projected the images into the water with the real fish!

I'm with you - enjoyed it myself even though it's a ride geared more toward children. I think they did a great job with it and it sure beats what was there the last few months!

My DD8 and I LOVED it... it was very fun and beautiful to look at.

We liked it although we did notice that the amount of real fish in the tank has gone down.

Maybe that has something to do with people taking the fresh catch of the day at Coral Reef a little too seriously.

We also enjoyed the ride and went on it a few times.

I truly enjoyed the ride!!! Got stuck in the "But Mr. Ray, we can't go without Nemo" section. Guess someone disabled had to get off the ride or something. But it was great!!! I'm going to have to watch the movie again before I go back in December so I can make sure I "get" all the scenes. Riding the EAC with Crush & son was fantastic!!!!

I was psyched that it was open on 10/19 for us to ride, until we rode it. My DD3 loves Nemo, and she seemed to like it. I thought it was OK, but nothing special. Too busy without being very entertaining. The effect of having the fish in the tank with real fish was sort-of neat, but this wouldn't be worth a long wait (say > 15 minutes). The ride seemed really short, too. The queue area is HUGE, I guess they are expecting big crowds eventually.

Turtle Talk with Crush on the other hand was great, and DD loved the fish tanks and bruce the shark.

DW and I are just back from our 10/14-10/22 trip and got to ride this one. We were both expecting more from it. Definitely geared towards smaller children. Didn't hate it but won't rush back to it either.

The fish being in the tank with the others was an awesome effect. The rest of it seemed kind of pointless to me.

Ah, well. That just frees up more time for Soarin'. Now if only the lines would go down. Smallest wait time we saw was 30 minutes, Longest was 80 minutes.
