New MYW Package discount!

Well I'm in a panic because I just logged on and saw the announcement up in the corner here on the Dis! We are already booked for 15 nights starting on Nov. 27 and I am dying to know how much we can save with this. Anyone know, because Mousesavers gives an example if you are staying at a deluxe and we are Pop people! I tried the Disney site but they don't seem to list discounts, and my TA is on vacation. She does have someone covering for her so I'll be calling soon, just wondering if anyone has any more information for me
right this second !

Thanks for replying. I would love to call Disney but have to work through my TA since she made the reservation for me. It's driving me crazy, but I have contacted her so she should be able to amend my reservation soon! Sounds like a great discount!!

Ok, I'm confused! (story of my life!) What is this and where did you see it? Is is good for Christmas? We have reservations for 10 days at POP over Christmas. I'm going to get on the phone in about 2 seconds if I can save some money!!!

WOWOWOWOWOW!!!! THANKS you guys!!! I switched from POP to Coronado Springs and saved about $220 to do it!!! CS for $220 LESS than it was going to cost us at POP!!!

I've never stayed at CS so now I'll have to look up all the information I can find! I'm so excited! Thanks so much to you guys!

I'm going to keep checking back over the next couple weeks to see if anything opens up with the code at POP. I'm thrilled to be saving money but if I can save even more...

Nothing available for ZBG or ZBH at WL, Poly or Contemp for 11/7-11/13.

I guess I'll have to stick with my AAA discount.

CM said it is the same code for the Disney Visa, except the Disney Visa code came out 1 day earlier (yesterday).

we just updated our 7 night AKL MYW w/dining using the new code and it saved us $269. Not bad but I thought it woul be more. I asked about adding one night on to the end of the vacation and it sent the total up almost $500 over the discount rate. That doesn't sound right.

yippee!! I just called and added the discount. We (family of five) are staying at POR and had 2 reservations the first was for Nov.23-26 (room only)and the second was Nov.26-Dec.2(hopper tickets with dining). I combined my 2 reservations and got 3 more days of the dining plan for only $47 more than I was going to have to pay. I am so excited!! Thanks Disney!!!!!
They told me the discount was on the whole package. I don't know exactly how it works, but it doesn't matter to me, as long as I'm saving money. If you already have reservations without the discount, it is definitely worth it to call back with the discount code.

It's for everyone . I just got an email from my TA and I'll be saving 204 dollars on my 10 day package, which is great However NC State how did you save so much, is your stay for much longer? According to my travel agent the discount is on preferred rooms only so she is switching me to a one. We have a room only for 5 nights as well and will be keeping that room standard in order to not get charged the extra fee although I am dreading packing up and moving house after the first 10 nights.

vsimeone if your like me you have already called Disney. Otherwise if you haven't already found it then go to the home page of the Dis at http://www.wdwinfo.com/ and scroll down, it's under Updates and states "NEW Magic Your Way Package Discount". You should be able to get it no problem with your dates and package !

me too! I have AKL for 7 nights and saved $269. I'm not complaining but I thought the discounts were larger on the deluxe resorts.

splashmtnman I am trying to figure it out and now that I've calmed down some and actually read what it says on Mousesavers it looks like a good chunk of our travel dates may have been excluded, blah! Also some hotels may not have availability such as some deluxes. I've emailed my TA to get more info since it looks like all our Dis buddies have skipped out to go spend the money they've saved !

I just called Disney and was told that I couldn't apply the code to my existing reservation without switching hotels...Well, since DD and DS have their hearts set on ASMo, I guess I won't be saving any money this trip. Oh, by the way, our existing reservation was for 12/21 - 12/27, the magic your way tickets with park hopper and dining.

I know what you mean, because we really don't want to stay anywhere else other than the Pop either. It's where we stayed on our first trip so it's just special to us, besides being really cool as well! I remember last year with free dining we ended up with 3 room ressies because in the middle of our trip they only had free dining rooms left at one of the All Stars. So we stayed at the Pop in a room only and did Universal! Which was good for us anyway, because now we have to do Universal at the end of our trip and I get Disney greedy at the end and hate to go anywhere else really.

Hmmm....that makes me think. momof2dizkids are you sure they didn't have a discounted room at your resort for at least part of your stay?

Did anyone else save more going from a mod to a value? If I call WDW again, they may ban me (you don't want to know how many quotes I got this morning).

When I called this morning, I explained to the CM that I already had an existing package reservation (#xxxxxxxx), and the reason I was calling was to find out if the new discount code could be applied to my reservation.. "Hold on, let me check......nope, only if you change resorts..sorry" I didn't even get to tell her what the code was (ZBH) "Is there anything else I can help you with?" So, I'm pretty much left out of this discount.
