New Mr. Potato Head pieces:

oh dear...I can see 3 boxes in my future. One for each child and one for the mommy!!! lol :rotfl2:

When we were last at Disney I looked at the Little Pony setup but I just don't get it. But then I don't really *get* the whole My Little Pony thing anyway. Other than brushing their hair....which eventually doesn't brush very well....what is the attraction w/ these things??? :confused3 My niece has a ton of them....but after carrying one around w/ her for a few hrs (or days) she looses interest and it goes into a pile w/ all the others...hardly ever to be retrieved again. But the next time she's in a store she's all crazy about wanting another specific pony...and so it goes....

if you're buying a PH body, then open his butt and stuff some of the little pieces in there. That way you're not wasting any space.

Once you grab all the pieces you'd like to get, go to the side displays. You'll see 2 pillars near the wall with some more pieces. Dump all your parts on the little table and then start rearranging your box. Try to maximize what you can fit in there. If you see some open nooks & crannies, fill them up with small filler parts.

I'd rather buy just the parts without the potato body because that would take up the entire box. No sense wasting space when the parts will work with regular Walmart Mr. PH bodies.

I had to rearrange my box 2/3 times to get it just right, and even then I could've put in some more filler pieces. The Ariel base I had to put in sideways because it wouldn't fit otherwise.

I'm not sure if I want to thank you for this thread or not. I LOVE the potato heads. I didn't realize there were so many more parts out. I WILL have all of those new pieces. But, I would have seen them anyway when I got there, so thanks for the warning about how much money I'm going to have to spend on them. :)

A great CM at O.U.T. stuffed our boxes for us and showed us how to stuff our potato too. We got so excited buying all the "special" outfits and stuff, we didn't get enough eyes, ears and noses, in fact, I only got one set of each! I'm going to do another box of the new stuff...and eyes, ears & noses...
