New MP3 Player: So Tell Me What I Should Download????

So I'm getting hip with the times! I just got an MP3 player and am looking for some new music suggestions to download. I'm interested in all genres, just something catchy! What are your current faves?

I have pretty eclectic tastes in music. My CD collection ranges 80's pop, 70's rock, country, to indies. My current faves are The Killers, Pink, Adam Lambert, and I still love Jellyfish, Madonna, U2, Bon Jovi.

I love Uncle Kracker's new song Smile! Some of my favorite groups/singers are: Billy Squier, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Cavo, Colbie Caillat, Marie Digby, Mary J Blige, Matchbox 20, Lady Gaga, Rhianna, Zac Brown Band..oh man I could go on forever!

my tastes are very eclectic as well. i have everything from michael jackson (thriller) and earth, wind & fire (boogie wonderland) to backstreet boys (i want it that way) to theory of a deadman (bad girlfriend). i love also love nickelback, cold, hinder and buckcherry. i've got some 80's stuff (extreme, winger, warrant, poison, bon jovi, MJ) and some 90's stuff (wilson phillips, will smith, nsync, backstreet boys) too. i like pretty much anything i can dance or sing (leona lewis, jordin sparks, jennifer hudson) to.

Ok, normally I would give you some Disney suggestions but I don't read that in you... So, I'll tell you a few people I think are great right now. DS16 (who is an awesome guitar player) would agree. Davy Knowles and Backdoor Slam. Try their latest album. Derek Trucks. Joe Bonamassa. If those aren't your style, sorry. To me, these guys are awesome. These aren't the trendy pop stuff...so, if that is what you want, don't bother listening to them. I'd also have to get some classic Eric Clapton, maybe some Buddy Guy, Bob Dylan, ZZ Top, Louis Armstrong (ok, singing Disney even), Rolling Stones, Aerosmith (you can think of Rockin Rollercoaster), Black Crowes, BB King. Ok, I could go on and on. Country you said? Good country to me would be Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Vern Gosdin, George Jones. Ok, maybe I'm showing my age. But really, if you haven't heard those first few I mentioned, check them out. They are pretty awesome. Have fun with the MP3 player. I wish I had one. Sons have them but I don't!!!

I love the entire cd, but my favorites are: Where The Boat Leaves From, Highway 20 Ride, Toes, and Whatever it is.

We (DD and self) buy the that's what I call music series, Just dance series, Lady gaga, Taylor Swift, Panic at the Disco, NKOTB, Trace Adkins, Marilyn Manson, Soundtrack to Valentine's Day is awesome. Kid rock, and Loretta Lyn is all on there too with a bunch of other stuff. Grammy CD's and the one's where they mix it all in is great. Oh, but the Glee 1st soundtrack is one of the best !!
