New Moon - who's seen it?

The it where she got on the back of the bike with the guy or the bit with victoria and harry clearwater? Or did I miss another :goodvibes

I must admit I actually prefered the bit with victoria and harry thought it was better in the film than book..

No not those bits they were changes as opposed to errors, I thought those changes were good though.

The error was when they were in Italy and Alice is grabbed by one of the evil vampires, but according to the third book no vampire can do that as she would see them doing it and be able to avoid them.

Oh yeah never thought of that.... hmm want to go and watch it again now :goodvibes

I'm going next Tuesday night :woohoo:

I can't wait, seen a still picture of Jacob today without his shirt on, wow! I'll have fun watching that part! :lmao:

I went to see it last night although I originally booked for the midnight screening last week. Anyway, despite it being a week night I have NEVER SEEN THE CINEMA SO BUSY!!!!! There was a queue out the door and hardly any seats to be had in the biggest screen even though there are about 10 screenings a day and I don't live in that big a town (20,000 people ish). We all got a bit windswept queuing outside. Anyway, yes there were loads of teenage girls and camp teenage boys and emo-looking couples and there was alot of giggling and giddiness. Yes, it was a bit annoying but I also viewed it with a lot of affection as I got all nostalgic remembering that it really didn't seem that long ago that I was a giggling teenager swooning over Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic. At 25, I feel well and truly old and was convinced all the teenagers thought my friend and I were two pathetic old biddy spinsters who had nothing better to do with our time than lust over teenage vampires and werewolves. I suppose part of it is true...
Anyway - I was shocked at how many of these silly giggly girls were Team Jacob . Being 100% Team Edward and actually hating Jacob at times (I wanted to vomit and cry for poor Edward during a certain part of Eclipse), I must admit, I was pretty annoyed at this fact. Then, after seeing that one of the wolves bore an uncanny resembalance to my first love (when he was a man not a wolf that is :goodvibes) that I remembered the 17 year old me who would definitely fall for the tall, dark, washboard stomach, rides a motorcycle kind of guy and all was forgiven. Sort of. I'm still Team Edward all the way . And Team Carlisle .
I thought the film was pretty good, the book is not my favourite because of the distinct lack of Edward. I also thought it was a difficult one to pull off but largely, it worked. I prefer Catherine Hardwicke as a director as I feel this was more of a boys film and the romance didn't always work the way it did in Twilight. It seemed more about cgi. I hated the whole Bella e-mailing Alice thing - I just don't think that would have happened. I liked the humor that was brought out. And I didn't hate the partially clothed buff wolve-men ...
All in all a good 3/5. Eclipse is my favourite so REALLY looking forward to that one which I think is coming up next summer :yay:.

You'll love it Lynne :thumbsup2

I enjoyed it, but I think it was slightly dissapointed probably cause I was looking forwrd to it so much, the first one I was forced to watch it and really loved it. I suppose the books were so good, the movie was never going to be so good.
I liked the fight scene in Italy.
But I agree, lots and lots of gigly girls, And I am sorry, but Jacob, he looks about 15, Edward for me:thumbsup2 oooolala.
But ignore me cause Im old.

ps Its a gorgeous day here in scotland for a change!

my advice would be to go to as late seating as you can manage.

Went to see it last night and I loved every second. I am definately Team Edward - his last line to Bella nearly made me fall over (I'm such a geek!!!!). I haven't read the books, as I only saw the first film last week on Sky and wasn't interested before then, but now I'm a tad obsessed and want the books & DVD for Christmas. Absolutely wonderful plot lines, and I had to giggle like previous poster at the one liners - Alice is a gem! Cinema wasn't too full, surprisingly, but there was the obligatory murmor and giggles when Jacob first took his top off lmao!!! Anyways, well worth the money, and would definately like to see it again if I can convince DF!
