New MK parade?

Does anyone have any info about the new parade that starts Aug. 10 at the MK. It says the snow globes are gone and the music will be from the Disney Toyko parade. Anyone seen that one? How is the music? Any clues?

Interested in the answer. We'll be there the week of August 13th and have no desire to see the "snowglobe parade" again but would probably catch a new one if it exists.

Sorry, but I thought that the "Globe" Parade was way too slow. Watching characters enclosed in glass dancing and whatever was just a little too removed for my taste. Put them out in the air. Keep the parade moving. I've always loved the MK parade. But I saw the globes once, and never bothered to watch it again. ....apologies to those who loved the globes.

I agree...we saw it once and weren't too thrilled about it. It think the concept was neat...but everything looks better on paper. I agree that they became too far removed.

I think its going to be a Nemo and Friends parade. They're going to fill the globes with water and feature everyone's favorite undersea pals. The end of the parade will be a reminder not to miss the Nemo stage show over at AK, the Nemo ride at Epcot, or the Nemotasmic night-time extravaganza over at MGM.

That would be a GREAT idea, but I don't think they will do that. One reason is because they are going to get rid of the globes.

i like the parades but honestly i like them to be changed up. I wish they'd change more often but, I'll be glad to see a change.

Its time for a change, those Snowglobes have been around for 5 years now. We saw it in a soft opening on our honeymoon in Oct/01. It was coolish then ( is that a word?) but when we saw it again this past Feb, DH looked at me and said I swear Ive seen this before. Its time for a change.

Orlando Sentinel - The daily parade at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom is losing its snow globes and getting a touch of Japan. The "Disney Dreams Come True" parade starts rolling Aug. 10 with new music borrowed from the Tokyo Disneyland parade, new characters and revised floats that get rid of the giant globes that were signature features in the old "Share a Dream Come True" parade.

I love the snowglobe parade but I have seen it enough. I'd love a new one too.

I checked out Youtube and typed in Tokyo parades dreams come true. There was one parade that came up. quite cute. great music. if the new parade is anything like that one it will be really great.
