New Merchandise - Photo/Autograph Book

We have been on the lookout in the parks hoping that they would replace the Gold HCOE photo/autograph book with something for the new celebration. At one point DD was told by a CM that they weren't going to have another one (which seemed kind of odd) - anyway - as we are walking across the parking lot at AK yesterday, I notice a mom taking the wrappr off of a RED book - I knew by the size it had to be what we were looking for. We headed into the gift shop before entering AK there it was. While I had envisioned something blue with the castle and clouds - I do like this - very "generic" for boys/adults/not specific to the YOAMD.....

BTW - I did not see this book in MGM yesterday at least not at the first store on the left going it --- so maybe they have not made it to all the parks. I checked at the cash register where they had blue ones and Princess books. There is other merchandise with this cover - bigger photo books, maybe scrapbook (please don't quote me - I didn't look that close!)

We just finished up our 2nd gold one yesterday, we also have two Princess books filled- as well as a couple of the blue ones. What I am trying to do now is get all of the characters even if we have them in a blue book in one of these to add the pics.... Even different outfits - so we will wind up with more than one autograph but different clothes! I'm not a scrapbooker, so this at least gets the photos and autograph together!!!!

thanks for posting esp the pics. My DS will be 12yr on our next trip in '07 & he'll love this book. It'll be easier to find thanks to your pics.

We got this book two weeks ago at the Grand Floridian gift shop. We were there for the Wonderland Tea Party and realized we'd need another autograph book before the end of the trip. These were by the register and the CM said they had just gotten them in that day. I, too, like that they seem very Disney without having Princesses, etc. on them like our other one!
Not that we don't love princesses, but we used this book for the non-Princess characters.

How much did you pay for that one? I usually just get the blue autograph ones for my boys when we go, but I like that one much better. Hopefully I can find 2 when we are there in January. Thanks...

I think it was maybe 10.99 or so and it holds 14 pictures and autographs. It's the same size as the pink princess one, so it's a little bigger than the blue ones with just paper pages.

I bet they'll have them all over the parks soon.

Correct $10.99 - it holds 15 photos - 14 pages for autographs. One of the photo slots is next to the inside cover. I usually put another special picture in that one.

When you use these books for pics - you need to take the photos in landscape not portrait. With character photos I tend to take them in portrait and zoom in to get the full character, so I always have to remember to take one the other way for the book. The photos it holds are 4x6 - the dimensions are about 6x7. (I'm guesstimating here!)
