New menu items coming to Epcot's Space 220 Restaurant

Such a fun concept, execution sadly lacking,

Can you go to the lounge and have just drinks and/or dessert? Nobody in my family would eat anything off of the menu in either the restaurant or the lounge, but would love to experience the “view”.
Lounge is a separate reservation and much harder to get. Also I think no table larger than 4 people. You can do a walk up for the bar without a reservation

I think they will let you order one of the desserts from the pre-fixe menu in the lounge a la carte (at least this has been my experience). But the rest of the menu is lounge specific with apps and drinks.

Is the walk up like La Cava where you can order a drink to go or is it walk up and be seated at bar if available?

I’m sorry but this made me laugh since one takes a “space elevator” to get to Space 220 restaurant and lounge….puts a whole new meaning to “drink to go.” 😁

I think you can only order at the bar if a spot becomes available. I don’t know if you can take the drink to go after getting there. You can’t get near the bar until you ride the space “elevator” and they won’t let you do that unless there’s an open spot for you to sit down

Actually, I believe you can order any of the items on the menu in the lounge.
Had a friend insist they had lounge reservations and tried to order an entree. Was told it is prefixe/all courses required???

I have a reservation for Space 220 for Friday, October 11th. I'll try to remember to ask when I'm there.

Oh, please do. I'm on fence as to keeping the 1st res I've been able to get there for 10/15

From what I remember you could order individual items from the lounge menu, but if you wanted something from the dinner menu you had to get the whole price fix
That’s how it was when Space 220 first opened and when we were there. Separate lounge menu or order the prix fixe from the restaurant.

We were there this past March, with a lounge reservation, and were able to order sides (parmesan potato wedges, roasted carrots and broccolini) and dessert from the restaurant menu to go with our short rib sliders from the lounge menu. It was all delicious! The waiter said we could order from either menu in the lounge. I’m not sure how that would work with the items on the restaurant’s prix fixe menu though.

I just found out the change to the carrot cake. It now looks smaller with less cake. So disappointing! I may be canceling my dinner reservation. :sad2:

My mom and I ate in the lounge for lunch on Monday, Oct 21 and they had a special dessert offer. You can get a trio of desserts for $18. They are each the same size as the individual ones that cost $14 on their own. They were quite good! The waitress said she didn't know how long this would be offered. It's a great deal.
