I'm so glad you had a great experience.
Would you mind to tell us what you had to eat? Particulary about the french toast and the potatoes.
Thanks,
I was wondering about the breakfast items as well. Especially the french toast and eggs!! lol

Thanks,
We didn't have the french toast so I can't speak to that. The eggs were more like a souffle than an omelet with cheese, tomato, spinach and onion. It came with sausage, bacon and potatoes, all of which were good. The potatoes were diced with tomatoes and spices - kind of tasted mexican. the pastries were great - we had croissants, danish and cinnamon buns. We got more croissants and sausage but were too full to have more. Hope this helps!
Does anyone know if the menus are posted....anywhere?

As long as people are willing to shell out $50 for substandard food, nothing will change, why should it
If attendance declines and it no longer sells out, then maybe it would change
I miss the days when we would go there for dinner for the food![]()
Is that why you don't go there? Because of the food? I totally agree with you....if people keep paying the price for the new menu then it will not change. I don't know why they changed it. Most people that choose the french toast option would want all the sides including eggs. Or atleast I would. I am just torn on what to do. This is our first trip and will probably be our only trip....so do I keep it for the "experience" of eating in the castle? Is it really that spectacular to go inside the castle?? Or is it just like going into another restaurant or dining room?

All I can say is that our party of 5 Disney adults and 2 infants were very displeased when we left.
Not only was the food, in our opinion, bad, but the staff was almost to the point of rude.
From the moment we walked up to the check-in desk, we met CM's who appeared to have all gotten up on the wrong side of the bed.
We were there for an 8:20 ADR so no excuses like, "It's been a bad day".
The photo CM's herded us like cattle, rudely I might add.
The photographer made no attempts to get my GS2 or GS1 to even look at her for the photos, nor did she worry about whether people were looking, smiling, arranged intelligently, etc. BAD PHOTOS!!
Once seated, our waiter was hurried and barely pleasant with us. He quickly ran through the way breakfast worked Never mentioning the AYCE part, and ran off to get OJ. Someone lese brought fruit and pastries and plopped them on the table.
We had to ask about other drinks to get something besides OJ. This, BTW, is something we encountered at almost every TS meal!!
Waiter then gave us our choices for meals. One picked FT and the rest went w/ the "omelet". BIG mistake! It was very unappetizing and as another poster said, it must have been MW'd. I couldn't believe this was the breakfast we had so anticipated!
We felt rushed through the place from start to finish.
As I said before, this was our first trip to CRT and will definitely be our last!
Is the "French Toast" still the same really good dish as before, that is much more than just everyday French Toast?
As one who has long loved CRT purely for its food and is hoping to go back in February for the first time in three years, it would be a real disappointment if it had changed to some generic dish pulled out from under a heat lamp.
This was the EXACT experience we had for breakfast there on 9/27. I was so very disappointed! I ate there for breakfast a year ago with my DM & DSIL & this time it was me, DH, DS, & DD. I was super excited to get an 8:15 breakfast reservation & told my family they were going to just love the potatoes & stuffed french toast. I was so sad that he gave us the 3 choices & that was it. No potatoes & the french toast they had this year was not the same & not anywhere near as good. No offer to bring any more of anything either...only refilled coffee once.
To top it off, the entire staff was rushing around like they were in a huge hurry & the princesses all barely gave us any time ~ just enough for a quick picture.
Certainly different from last year & a bit more expensive.![]()
I would like to know if the french toast has changed too! Still debating about eating at CRT or not. If the french toast has changed then I'm cancelling! lol
I'm so glad you had a great experience.

Thanks,
I am most concerned about the french toast. We ate at CRT in May and loved all the food. We are planning to return this May specifically for the french toast. We do love seeing the princesses. But if they have changed the french toast and no longer offer all you can eat we will probably skip going. We only have one child going with us this year. I still have to please the adults with a decent meal.

Thank you all for helping me decide on weather to keep or dump our CRT ADRs. Not just this thread, for the past 3 months I have been reading about how bad CRT is and the bad service is and cafeteria-style food. I have decided to have my birthday dinner and cake at Akershus.
We are dumping the CRT ADR trying to pick up Akershus ADR for November 30.
I will dump the CRT ADR to night when I get home at around 8pm if any one wants it, providing I can get Akershuss for the same night.
our CRT ADR is on Nov 30 @ 710pm 2-adult 1-child
