New menu at Pinnochios?

Does anyone know if the new Italian menu started at Pinnochio Haus? Just curious.

We ate there last Thursday and it wasn't an Italian menu. Just the usual.....burgers, dogs, etc. I hadn't heard it was going Italian! Does that mean no more Figaro Fries? Great sadness!

I saw yesterday that allearsnet.com has an August menu update. I compared it to an earlier one I had printed and it is the same EXCEPT no burgers or cheeseburgers. This actually fits the transition plan I had read about months ago. I think the grill area was being replaced first and they would move toward the new menu. Fiagro Fries were still on the menu.

The menu was apparently supposed to change to pizza on Friday, as well, though the last time we heard a date (May), nothing happened.

We're heading to the MK tomorrow and I'll be checking it out.

We ate there twice this trip and both times the menu was the same. No burgers, mostly cold food. Turkey sandwich, chicken salad, chicken fingers, figaro fries. Kids menu was turkey roll ups and I forget what else, not chicken fingers though. They said that they were testing the new ovens and that hopefully the new menu would be up on 9/2. We were in MK that day but forgot to look at the menu.

The new menu was up today. I took a picture of it, but I'm pretty exhausted right now. It included veggie, pepperoni, and cheese pizzas, an Italian meat submarine sandwich, a turkey and bacon panini, and an antipasto salad available with and without meat. The Figaro fries are still on there as well.

The new menu looks *extremely* promising, and we would have gone for lunch if we didn't already have plans.

Does anyone know if the sub sandwich is toasted? It sounds similar to the one at Pizzafari, that's toasted, and I love that one!

No, I'm sorry, we didn't stop in because it wasn't open yet. The crowds were so light Monday morning that we breezed right through Fantasyland.

I'm looking forward to trying the antipasto salad, myself I'm not sure if I can drag FH into Fantasyland anytime soon just to eat at Pinocchio's, though.

Thanks for posting. My son (16 months) loves the kid's turkey and cheese roll ups. They use to serve them with mandarin oranges, but I see they've switched to grapes. He doesn't have enough teeth to eat the grapes.

This was our "traditional" first day at the MK restaurant for lunch. We won't be eating there anymore. Geeze, WDW just can't help fixing what's not broken. Everytime we've been there, the place was mobbed for lunch.

Pecos Bill's in Frontierland would be the closest, if you do not want to go to Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland.

Except that Pecos Bill doesn't serve hot dogs I believe. Casey's has hot dogs and hamburgers (on Main Street).
