hello, im new to the forums. just thought id stop in and say hi. im a longtime HUGE fan of the magic kingdom. on June 1st-5th i will be going on my 17th trip to disney world. this is the first time that my sister and i are going by ourselves without our parents. we have always stayed at the grand floridian, but my sister and i are camping at fort wilderness this time. im nervous/excited about staying at a new hotel!

Hi Mdacko, Welcome to the Dis!! Hope you enjoy the campgrounds, are you staying in a tent or cabin? Either way I'm sure you'll have a good time, I remember when 2 of my daughters went together for the 1st time without the rest of us, I was nervous and excited for them and o.k. a little jealous! They ended up having a blast and I thought, oh well, that's it, they will never go with us again. I was wrong, they love going as a family and still go with us and one of my daughters got engaged at the castle last year and now she is getting married in 3 weeks and going to DW for part of her honeymoon!! Have a great time with your sister and say "HI" to and for me!!!!

I once went to Disney with just my sister. It was my first real trip on my own as a grown up. I think I was about 20 or so at the time. We had so much fun. I'm sure you will too.
