New Member, Who's My Guide?

Hi everyone. We just became DVC Members, and I'm wondering who our guide is. We bought a resale. Would it be on any of our documentation? Where do I look?

No, it's not in any of the documentation (we also bought resale). Whoever the guide was on the original sale would now be your guide. Call DVC to find out who it is; just give them your contract number and they'll pull up the info that way. If that guide no longer works for DVC you'll be assigned another guide, or you can just request a guide if you have a preference for one.

I don't know if you'll hear from a guide unless you call to ask. They be very interested to know you if your ready for an add-on, their role at DVC is strictly sales.

I guess it would make sense for the guide who originally had the contract to continue to have it. But, we've toured before, so I'm not sure if we'd get the person we toured with? Guess I'll ask when we make our ressies for next summer.

It probably will be the guide you were dealing with on your tours (if they are still there). The term guide is interchangeable with "salesperson" so unless you are buying, they really have no contact. It's true that some people have established relationships with their guides but the vast majority have no contact with their guides. Any questions, concerns, etc. can be addressed to MS and Member Accounting.

If you really want to know the name of your guide, just call the DVC sales number and ask. They'll be glad to tell you.

we bought resale and our guide was the one we had toured with 2 years before we bought our resale. I only found out who our guide was because I had saved the information from when we tour VB and her name was on it. Then I got information in the mail about adding on with her name on it!!
