New member single here

Not that odd... I'm also a Disney, Broadway and SF/F fan (though I lean more to the fantasy than the hard SF, as a rule). However, I'm in New York and not single. We visit Orlando frequently, as my sister and my parents all relocated there within the last two years; we will be in town in April (I have a conference at the Convention Center). We will probably stay at Universal, as my sister can get us discounted rooms and it's close to the Convention Center, but on other trips, we have a timeshare on the west side of Kissimmee, not far from the entrance to Animal Kingdom.

Big Disney fan I have a season pass here in Florida Honestly I'm just very tired of being single Nice guy from the Midwest relocated to Florida and 37 Love Disney and Broadway but I also like sci-fi. I know odd combo Anyhow if you're interested in chatting let me know

I'm not in FL but I'm close by. I usually do 6-8 trips to WDW a year. In what part of FL are you?

Speaking of Disney & Broadway, has anyone seen The Book of Mormon? If you have, you'll get the reference! HAHA

I'm married, but do have my "solo" days in the park.

:yay:

Shared interests. I'll be down last couple of weeks of September. Anybody else?

I'm desperate to see Book of Mormon! It's so expensive here in the UK though, with tickets up to £150!

In the US they do "rush" tickets. You put your name in at the box office about 90 minutes prior to curtain. They draw names and if your name is drawn you can buy 2 tickets at a HUGE discount. Some of the theaters also sell standing room only tickets. You might check and see if your theater offers anything like that. :)
