Hello all! I am a new member to the boards. I am also a cast member at the Polynesian and would love to help all of you plan your vacation and answer your questions. I don't know if this is the normal thing to do, but I hope you respond if you have any concerns that need answering.
Just remember, you're on vacation and the only thing that can ruin that is your over-zealous planning. I've seen far too many people just break down because they couldn't have the exact room they wanted (only to realize they've never even stayed at Disney). Take it easy and go with the flow, you're on vacation after all. Does anything really matter as long as you're with those you love having a good time? No, should be your answer!
