New member packet

how long from the time you got your member number did it take to get your packet with cards and all in the mail. We got our member number in the mail on July 6 and it was dated July 4. Hopefully it will be here soon.


Update 07/24/15 :we got a welcome home envelope with our member cards today but that was all that was in the envelope. Is that all we are supposed to get?

Membership ID cards , 2 dvc car magnets, points catalog for all resorts. And a welcome letter on how to set up account. I had already set this up with MS after learning my member #. It was so much easier having them do it with me.

Ours was received a week ago and it included our cards, 2 DVC magnets and a dvc pt booklet that they would give you when doing the tour of DVC

That is all you get when you buy resale- they have bags and such that are given to new members who buy from Disney (although they may only be given to those who buy on property). All of the other things like the booklet for your specific resort and such are only given to the original purchaser and you would need them to send you anything like that.
