Just received my first email from Member services of DVC:) It contained activation code. It also had a link to sign in. I was not able to sign in. Do I need to wait for second email? Should I call member services? First DVC contract and so excited!

You will also need your Club ID which you can get by calling Member Services. The Club ID is unique to each individual on the membership, so if there multiple owners, each will need to call to setup their online access.
 
Just went through this. Very frustrating, as it was my first contract. I closed on 5/1. Got my activation code on 5/24. But, and I do mean BUT, the Club ID code took until June 8th - 15 LONG Days. It can only come through email (no matter how many times I called). Luckily, I got it in time for a January stay - with one day to spare. I was sweating it out. All ended well, but it can take this long (or longer). Hope this helps.
 
Got my second email this afternoon. I did need to call and reset my password to get in the website. Member Services was very helpful. They said points will be loaded tonight and I can see point’s tomorrow morning. I’m in!

Glad you were lucky to get your second email so soon!!!! Yes, I had to call them as well because the points were not there, but they were by the next morning.
 
Good Morning! DVC did not load the points. I imagine Member Services is super busy. I will call at 9 AM to check on the situation. I will update later:)
 
After calling MS, I spoke to a very kind person who asked when I closed. She used this information to support adding points today. After waiting a total of 5 minutes, my points were loaded:)

For anyone else reading (when buying direct at least), you can get your Club ID # off of the purchase documents you are signing the same day you get the activation email. Pair the two together and whoolah.
