So I have some questions. We just had our offer on a resale accepted and hoping that Disney does not exercise their ROFR.

the reason im asking these is im getting conflicting reports

1, Is there FREE HS internet in the rooms? Actually wired or just dialup? Bandwith??

2, Is there ANY discount on the DDP or.. Can you only buy DDP for partial number of days on your stay?

3, Are there dishwashers in all 1 or 2 BR villas?

4, Looking at the photos of the AKV on the disney website, they have a photo of a bathroom with a TV in it. THIS IS THE BEST IDEA SINCE SLICED BREAD!! Is this a real bathroom @ AKL?

please give me any insight you have into anything im going to expect on this journey?

P.S. my heart his the floor when they told me I would be paying 800.00 for dining for the 7 nights when one of the selling points was having a kitchen in the room. However I will admit I did not go through the DVC number just as a general booking.

1. Members staying at a DVC resort on a reservation made by DVC Member Services get free wired internet.

2. No discounts on the DDP.

3. Yes, all 1-bedroom and larger units have a dishwasher.

4. I believe that photo is of a Grand Villa (3-bedroom). The Studio, 1-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom units don't a TV in the bathroom.

There is not a discount on the DDP, BUT, you will pay the regular price even during "peak" season. The prices of the DDP do increase seasonally and DVC members do not pay the increase.

You can pay as much or as little as you like for food. We don't do lots of table services, and might only eat twice a day. This June we may do lots of eating in the villa since we will have nine additional teens along on this trip.

But if you choose the dining plan, you'll pay at least the same amount as all the other guests do during standard times. At least you aren't required to pay rack rate for your villa and purchase tickets from Disney to do so.

The wired internet connection is usually in the master bedroom. It is not dial up but not blazing fast either. Good enough to get a little bit of work done if you need to. Many DVC members bring a wireless router with so they can have wireless connections for everyone.

Not always. At OKW it is in the living room at the corner table between the sleeper sofa and love seat.
