Hey There,

Ok this may seem odd but ive been reading the threads on here for quite sometime and just decided now, about a few weeks later- to register and start posting! WOHOO!! Im not quite sure how it all works, but what i do know is im right there with you girls...

My goal is 20 lbs by Sept (WDW HERE I COME!!!) for my Birthday!! I did weight watchers twice and lost about 20 lbs but alway seem to gain it back. My faults are eating late at night and not having the motivation to excercise. Booo to the gym!!!:rolleyes1 Well you girls are such an inspiration to each other, im really determined to lose the weight- but i need your help!!!

Ironically, last night my bf and roommate decide to make choc chip cookies- they just left them sitting out and as i walked by the kitchen i thought of you girls and how my goal is to lose- and cookies arent gonna help that haha...


So im in this with you!!! Please help!!

You can do this and having people to give encouragement to while getting encouragement is the best!

Grab a WISH clippie on the "smilies" list to add to your signature.

It looks like you've got the determination to never give up. You can do this. Trying to make it stick is difficult for sure. I'd suggest trying to make it a part of your thoughts just like you passed by those cookies. You did it! Don't think of this journey as a negative. Think happy and successfully. Make it a lifestyle, not that "D" word.
 
My PMS thread (link in my siggy) is going kind of slow so I am looking for some more "loosers" to join me there! I also HATE exercise so I am right there with you!!! We have a few that pop in now and then and a few that try to post every day. You are more than welcome to join me over there! I am sort of doing South Beach. As for those Cookies. They shouldn't be left out. They will get stale. Be a good roommate and put them in a sealed--OPAQUE (can't see through it) container and put it behind something like a big bowl or the toaster or something!! Out of sight, out of mind. :thumbsup2 Maybe see if they would like to take them to work and share them with their coworkers or friends. Don't suppose you have a dog? If the situation gets really desperate you can always throw them in the dumpster and say the dog ate them :rolleyes1
 
haha wow, thanks for the great advice- i was wondering how to make a signature?? im kinda lost on this whole thing... i mean you guys have cool pictures and everything.

As for those beloved cookies (unfourtantly no puppy yet, hoping for one soon!!), gave them to my boyfriend to take to work. That works right?? Get them outta my site haha.

Salad for dinner tonight, on my way... i really wanted to try to get outside for a run/walk (prob more on the walking side) but the stupid rain ruined my plans!!

Making a siggy is really easy! (once you learn how ;) :rotfl: ) Go up to the top line on the right side where it says Quick Links. Click on the arrow and when the drop box box shows up click on "Edit Signature". You will get a page that looks just like Posting page. You can then put in lines of type--you can see that I have lots of type in mine.

You can add "smilies" the guys to the right--click on the [More] at the bottom left of the box of Smilies and a box will pop up with more options. I have to maximize that box (not sure if others do) and scroll through to find the WISH clippies. Click on the one you want and it will be automatically added to your posting box.

If you can open more than one window on your computer you can minimize this window with my post and open another window to do all this so you can read here while you do all this. Does this make any sense?

If you want to add photos, I can walk you through that also but it takes longer and I am supposed to be packing to go out of town. :ssst: don't tell anyone you saw me here!

Also, a visit to the tech board has a lot of great FAQ's about how to make siggy's and add photos. You also want to read the info there about the guidelines for keeping your siggy legal. You have the determination to succeed, that is part of the battle! WISH is a great tool for succeeding at losing. A lot of great ideas, tremendous support and a ton of great people are to be found throughout the boards. Hope you come around often and best of luck on your journey.

its bagel friday at work and boy do they smell good!!! I couldnt be craving one more, but ive done good all week so im really trying not to spoil it. Plus i read somewhere that a bagel and cream cheese is one of the worst things you can eat for breakfast!!

Help, i swear- their calling my name! :happytv:

Oh I understand that! We had bagels at work last week & it nearly killed me! They looked so good. I always keep a 100 cal. granola bar in my bag for emergancy situations.

When I really need motivation I pull up the nutritional values on some of my favorite junky foods & it reminds me how bad they are.
 
Hi! I recently joined up with WISH as well. I have found the exercise challenge to be really helpful. So far I'm 3 for 4 this week with exercising (Mon-Thurs). I hate to exercise but I have found sadly that dieting alone doesn't do much for me.

I also got rereminded to use fitday over here and that's been helpful to see the breakdown of calories, fat, protein, and carbs in what I eat each day.

Now as for those chocolate chip cookies, How about replacing those with some fat free brownie mix in your apartment?? I just baked some the other night as a treat for the 4th and they are really good. The brand starts with a K (Krutez maybe?)and I got them at Kroger but I've seen them elsewhere. I think they are 120 calories for a 2x2 inch square.
 
fitday.com Its a free website that you can enter in your foods, exercise, goals, etc in. Check it out. I find it to be fun.

I agree with LTS, sparkpeople.com is good for counting calories and keeping track of everything else. It does take time, but the info is good.

Wow, going to WDW for your birthday. I did that once, actually just me and DH went. I was 40. but, that was eons ago. We went the same week you are going. I wish to go again, but not in the stars. Rather getting our oldest to college is.

Great News!! -5 lbs today.... thats for the 2 1/2 weeks...i havent weighed myself in awhile but IM HAPPY!!!

Has anyone ever had those smart ones sundaes- they are delicious and only 3 pts on WW!! You should def try them, they are the perfect dessert :thumbsup2
