I am the new owner (technically after closing next Spring) of 200 points at SSR. I am a recently retired ex-Californian now living in Arkansas. (wish I was still registered to vote there!)
I was born in San Diego, went to graduate school at Stanford and worked in the San Francisco Bay area for the last 15 years. I went to college in New Orleans (Newcomb/Tulane) so I am very familiar with both SF and NO but WDW is my favorite place on the face of the earth!!!
My first trip was in 1980, and I did not get to go back until 1993 (no money/no time). I have made up for lost time going at least once a year since then. One year I got to go 7 times - had a lot of business trips to Orlando.
I usually get an AP every other year and go about 4 times the year that I have it. This is an "off" year and I cannot wait to go back in October.
I looked at BWV when I stayed at BWI. I'd bought a house in CA that I was remodeling and couldn't swing it financially. I honestly hadn't thought about it again until I got involved with the DIS boards. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of the great info.
I was trying to decide on how many points (between 150 and 200) and after reading about all of the add ons that everyone does just decided to go for it. I love DTD. Even if I don't buy a lot I just love to look at the wonderful stuff that Disney has created.
I am so looking forward to going home when SSR opens!
